    If you are installing higher quality speakers with an amp and ultimately higher power you should just run new speaker wire. Cross-reference the OEM wire AWG vs what power you will be running.

    I replaced mine because I scraped it. There is no adhesive at all. There are a series of clips and a weather strip that's it. Maybe one of your clips broke?

    I agree with this. I've probably had 8-10 of their mounts... I bought their current one and I can't bring myself to mount it in the truck. It's terrible looking. They have always been low profile and sleek, missed the boat on this one.

    The upfitter wires are already on relays, it is designed so you can connect an accessory rated under the total amperage directly to the output (color coded wire)... Also, HankTheTank has a great point. These wires are fused per the table, that doesn't mean it should be used at max capacity...
