hi i know its still pretty new and not many people have done these mods, i only know one guy that i bought the geisers from that went to full aftermarker fox adjustable coilovers and rear shocks, but i beleive he also had collars on the geisers so the ride qaulity cant be compared as i know it...
Hi I bought these brand new and only opened the box to look at it and take pics, I went with the geiser spring route so these were not needed anymore and never installed as mentioned . 250 shipped
i wouldnt say its a clunk for me i was trying to say the same thing about my speed bump experience from stock to geisers, it slams the wheels down at much greater force when going through them at faster speeds it makes a thud maybe others call it a clunk, but it does not sound like something is...
np and thanks for chiming in i did not know that. with the stiff spring up front i dont think it will ever go high enough to clear the fenders now so i dont mind it being a quarter inch wider , as its better for taking high speed corners with better control. but if i ever do now i know i can...
thanks for chiming in, the uca just lets it move more freely i would guess, the stock was really soft but it went over speed bumps alot smoother than now, since the suspension is alot stiffer with the new spring, im guessing it wont allow as much wheel travel possibly with them being that stiff...
pretty much its a little bigger than stock but almost the same the wheels are the same the tire is 35x12.5x17 , i guess i tagged the @CUSTOMWHEELS4U wrong lol they supplied the wheels and tires for a good price and know their stuff.
good question, i doubt it was measured i wasnt there for the install but he said it was at least a quarter of an inch or slightly above. it came preset like that so to have the alighment per spec they had to move the bottom all the way out to make it where it needs to be. i guess they can be...
Hey guys first want to thanks @Rick@freedomotorsports for Deaver and uca deals and @customwheel4u for their knowledge and help with wheel /tire choices and again great prices!
The first mod was actually mpt tune which I'm super happy with Then goes the rest
I've bought the icon collars...
They do make you send them a stock file but I wouldn't know if their actual tunes are different from other same year raptors with same mods. I bought mine online for 700 and had them send me three tunes after the stock file and then asked for to maps to be more linear since it was just way to...
i know what you mean all i was saying was that the gen 2 raptor has pretty damn nice travel that he couldnt even raise it to get the wheels off . compared to all other factory cars there is none that can compare to the raptor that i know off with that much wheel travel from the factory.
stock for now lol. he has a 2 year old HUNTER alignment frame , comes with jacks that move around that raise the cars/trucks in the air but i guess the lifting range on that alignment frame couldnt even take the wheels off the frame they were still touching, had done alot of trucks and f150s but...
his new advanced alighment frame could not pick up the truck high enough because of the long wheel travel lol so he wasnt able to remove my front tires, he bought a lift but hasnt been installed yet that just raises the truck in the air so he was trying to do it on the alighment frame since it...
thanks, thats what i told him as well lol. i just wasnt sure if they had provided those bolts in the kit but he said they did so that problem is out of the way. thanks for confirming it for me!
hey guys my truck is at my buddies place getting the deavers installed and he called me to say that the gas tank has to be removed for the factory bolt to be able to be pulled out. i just sent him a message asking if they provided new bolts if he can just cut the factory bolt off and install...
jake u really have to spam your stupid photos on every threead? im not a retard , and not a begginer to trimming what needs to be trimmed, this post is not even about that... was just wondering if it would clear when my wheels would go full flex inside the fenders. but i think it will with no...
ye im expecting them to i wasnt worried about that, i was just concered if the wheels tuck if they will be able to clear to go inside without hitting the fender or what not, but i will test it once i get the rest of the parts in and installed. the brackets i beleive were shipped to relocate the...
its only rubber a little tiny bit when i make a full turn right now, and im sure its because the tire is .6 inches taller than stock plus its a mt tire so it has one inch long thread. im not concerned about that , im sure that will be gone when i install the geisers and uca's . i could even do...
it looks more like an inch further if i count the extra rubber on the sidewall with the mts. but i think it should clear once it gets on full flex . just wanted to make sure would hate to have it not be able to tuck in properly.
hi guys i just put on my icon wheels with toyo 35x12.5x17 tires, i do have a slight rub on full turn when i hit a bump, but im sure that will fix soon when i get these icon uca and geisers installed. just waiting on the deavers as they been on back order so i can get it all installed. my...
your wrong on mpt shipping a box with preset tunes. they send the guage, but it doesnt come with any tunes on it, you first have to send them your stock file, and also tell them all the mods you have, and then tell them what 3 different types of tunes you want to have. and if you down the road...
yea after i put 35s on it , it was slow as a prius prob worst.. so i had to get more power out of it, and got talked into a tt kit, but had very bad experience with the shop(s) that worked on it, so i got tired of dealing with their bs and just bought the truck i wanted 2 years ago lol but this...
i had a flex fuel on my 13 gmc denali and i used both 91 or e85 since it was compatible to use both, i didnt have it tuned for it but i def felt the power difference, its not anywhere close to the power difference you get on turbo engines but it def was felt. for the gtr, i had changed my...
