Personal opinion of course, but I would only own a SCAB Raptor...otherwise may as well just buy a regular F150, probably a V8, and maybe do some mods.

I spent over $1K getting rid of my applique...prefer the look of a clean tailgate, plus wanted to put on a custom badge. Found one from a ‘17 to avoid the big F150 stamped in the bottom too. Better pic of the badge:

Love how it fits flush/slightly below the cab roof line when stowed. Added weight, and may have more drag in the area directly behind the truck, but more streamlined airflow over the bed...curious if you get better or worse gas mileage with the rack/tent in place while cruising.
