This is the way. I use the copper-based grease, and also make sure the very thin layer of anti seize I put on doesn’t get down into the last thread or two before the electrode.

Quick update. TSW finally got the bearings in for their top hats…got mine put in yesterday: No discernable change in ride height, but once again blown away with how much better the truck feels. Those bushings in the stock top hats were toast…I had no idea how bad the ride had gotten...

There’s someone on here who did a hidden hitch, connected behind the rear license plate. That was years ago though, and I honestly wouldn’t know where to begin your search.
