I thought I read Amsoil contains low amounts of Moly (Molybdenum) at least compared to Schaeffers. I always used Moly in the gearcases of my ATV/UTVs to smooth out the engagement.
Watching to see if your change back to Schaeffers quiets the phasers again as I'm at 75k on my early '19 without...
This can happen for many reasons but usually clears up in a key cycle or two unless there is a bigger issue. I'd recommend using Forscan if you have it and check for codes, especially anything related to speakers or the ACM
Best I can do is this from the F150 Towing Information that Ford publishes. 53C is the Max Towing package. I don't think ford is very accurate though as we all know the Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Trailer Brake Controller are on the Raptor even though they're not marked, so I have no reason to...
A WDH hitch is required for anything over 500lb tongue weight according to the Ford hitch sticker. It's not doing anything to increase payload, it actually takes away from it.
I'm not sure how else I can answer your question. I already included the list of things that is included with the Max...
Easy troubleshooting would be to move that coil pack to a different cylinder and see if the misfires follows. It's possible you have a damaged plug, but if you've been running the plugs for a month that is more doubtful
I totally agree with you. Sagging could get you pulled over by a LEO and then it's on you to prove you're not overloaded. I think it's also some of the reason people install air bags or other aids even though it doesn't increase payload capacity on paper.
Ford marketing is just like anything...
Understood. I'm also just passing along what I've learned as well. And the main point of that is with a F150 you will typically run out of Payload before any other towing limit is reached. While Ford and other manufactures love to throw around big towing limits (like 14k lbs) there are very few...
Fair enough. Could you point out what is in the Max Tow package that the Raptor doesn't have?
I also don't think it's fair to say the Raptor can't tow anything over 2000lbs. It has been shown in this thread or the others it's more than capable of towing over that and still remaining under...
Bumping this up as I just saw Dorman makes an end link for the Gen2 raptor now according to rockauto:

Probably still worth the extra $$ for OEM but at least there is another option now.
The Max Tow package doesn't have anything that a raptor doesn't:
Includes:
• 3.55 Electronic-locking Rear-Axle (If ordered with 3.0L Diesel Engine, 3.5L EcoBoost Engine without Heavy-Duty Payload Package, 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 Engine with 4x2)
• 3.73 Electronic-locking Rear-Axle (If...
You do realize the PowerBoost Hybrid you mention still uses the 3.5 Ecoboost. It's not getting abandoned. If anything the V8 is going away in favor of more EcoBoost and Hybrid/EV options.
You need to check the actual payload on the Lariat before you go thru with the purchase. The payload sticker is unique to each truck based on options installed. Just because it has the Max Tow package doesn't mean it has payload over 3000. That is SuperDuty territory for payload. I bet your F150...
It's actually reversed on Gen2/3 where it pulls in air from the top of the seat instead of blowing air up threw the seat.. Maybe too many people complaining about fart fans
Bottomline, you will be over your payload rating with your current setup. You will be over roughly 215lbs. Like mentioned in the post above, you're really only worried about tongue weight. Most 1/2 ton trucks will run out of payload before hitting any other towing limit. Highly optioned Raptors...
So in your case 1305 minus the 1100lbs of passengers and gear you've added leave you with 205lbs. 205lbs x 10 (10% tongue weight) means you can tow roughly 2050lbs before you go over your trucks payload rating.
Now you're saying the trailer and UTV is 4200lbs. 10% of that is 420lbs. Subtract...
Found this picture that may show the grommet. I wouldn't use the cab vent that is below that. I've used a grommet similar to the video on a previous truck without issue as well.
My opinion is you won't have any issue pulling that as stated. To know if you're overloaded though, you need to look at the sticker on your driver door jam and see what your payload is. Then subtract the 1k from you and your add ons and that is what you have left for tongue weight on the...
