Everyone keep in mind that when calculating where the face of two wheels will be relative to one another, you must take BOTH the offset and wheel width into account (i.e. the outer face of the 17"x8.5" +34 factory wheel will NOT be in the same place as a 17"x9" +34 aftermarket wheel).

It's all just a sales pitch for a hot new product that has a ton of anticipation. There are crooked dealers out there who think there are enough idiots out there willing to spend $10k+ over MSRP to get the newest toy several months before other, smarter buyers.
That guy didn't seem much more knowledgeable than anyone I've ever dealt with at a dealer (i.e. didn't really know shit).
I'm hoping they have a Raptor at the OC Auto Show in a few weeks where I can see the "carbon fiber" in person.
