My first GUESS is going to be transfer case shift motor and/or IWEs since I have had to work on both of those myself.
Reading about the wiring to the rear diff letting dash light on even though not connection to locker, would send me that route.

And thought is to be able to do some work, repairs, and upgrades instead of driving the truck daily.

I miss driving the Raptor right now.
Been a few months in my winter beater MKX.
Found nobody pulls out in front of, or cuts off the Raptor.
Not near as much respect (or fear) given to the MKX.

I was surprised how easy intake came off when I did the 5.4 in our old Expedition..

That Expedition had a TON of sound deadening material under it's intake.
