You guys are funny, I’m not laying on my back in 10 degrees. Applicator would freeze anyway. That’s why I’m paying a shop to do it. But I appreciate all the advice. I really should of thought of it sooner (during summer) but I procrastinated and now have to pay “a guy” to do it. Figured I can’t...
Thnx I’m sure ur right, I just have no time for DIY project and am willing to pay for the service. Was mainly wondering if the general consensus was: is it worth having it done or not? Is it truly protective in minimizing/preventing rust?
I curious of any thoughts on Line-x underbody rustproofing. I’ve got 20k miles on my 2020, it’s been thru 1 winter with no protection but am scheduled to have applied this week. Any one have thoughts, pros-cons? Is it worth it? ($899)Thnx
I’m partial to Apple Ford in Lakeville. I bought a Raptor and a bronco sport from them and find them to be honest and straight forward. Haven’t had to use warranty services yet but they’re a reputable service center.
Everyone has great advice here. I would add that the most dangerous thing is: “OVER CONFIDENCE “. Our Raptors are confidence inducing machines because of they’re abilities. 4A works awesome and 4H incredible. However, no skill or options will help on ICE or SPEED. I live in the Twin Cities MN...
I’m same truck 2020 802a 21k miles. At about 17k miles mine did shimmy shake almost like urs sounds like. But shut off. Started again and has run perfect ever since. When I had it in for oil change had them check for codes and none! Just a glitch in the matrix.
Don’t dismiss the Raptor as non work truck. It IS!!! I use my 2020 for work, and I’m a contractor. Throw tools in it, haul a 6’x12’ trailer around with tools with no problem. Plenty of power and added bonus, when client sees me pull up in a Raptor they think “must be successful, I’ll hire him”...
There is no way that it just appeared out of no where. They probably did a temporary fix that limited the noise and hoped it wouldn't reappear till after you drove it for 30 days or 3000 miles.. I would get it back to them asap and do you also have a period of time to return the truck? I once...
Ur just one of the “unlucky” experience. I’ve driven Fords for 30 yrs and have had no issues with any of them. Then I hear people say ford is crap they’re trucks are ****. Every brand has its good experiences and bad. You’ve just had the bad. I would’ve gotten rid of ur truck asap with the first...
Are people joking for fun on here or seriously doesn’t know what a 7 pin adapter is?? If it’s true and they don’t know I don’t think they should own a truck let alone a Raptor.
Is your question “why can’t I get financing through Ford Motor Credit”? Idk why but Ford financing deals never will apply to a Raptor. You will always have to get financing elsewhere. But like others have said you get better rates other places anyway.
It’s very low miles so I think there’sa learning period. My brand new 2020 went thru “miles to empty” variations for awhile. I would fill up and it would say 576 miles to empty then next fill up it would say 416 then 525 then 475 it has stabilized over the last 6 months to a very regular...
It’s a SIRIUS thing. Happens in my 2020 raptor and on my Sirius app when I stream at work. 99% of the time any channel I go to starts at beginning of song. Happens on pandora as well.
I agree salesmen are a waste of time. Never once have I purchased a vehicle because the salesman convinced me. When I bought my Raptor last year I knew more about it than the salesman and knew what I wanted. All the salesman was good for was filling up the gas tank. I should have gotten the...
I’m soooo glad I got my 2020 when I did. 19,000 miles and I get as many daily compliments and stare downs in it as I would a gen 3 I think. So I’ll be sticking with my gen 2 for quite a while still
I have had 2 vehicles shipped F150 supercrew being one of them. Both times there was damage to vehicle (scratches, dents and undercarriage damage). I wouldn’t risk it with that nice of a truck. I would go get it and drive it home. I understand the “break in” period is not really a think anymore...
