20 gallon tank is pretty small. You should be able to get a replacement tank for a reasonable price, or just free up the drain, drain the water, and use it till it starts to leak (may never leak at all). Then go get a decent air dryer and put it as far away from the compressor outlet as...
It would be cool to do a run together. I'm in North Glendale and can hook up for a day or maybe an overnite trip. the Crown King/Senator Highway run would be a fun easy run (not high speed, but scenic) to get in on a weekend either as a day trip or make it an overnight in Prescott. Maybe...
I've only been able to make 1 run - the Bloody Basin run. Lots of fun and some good people running it too. I wanted to get out to more runs, but life/health issues got in the way. I did get to a meet & greet at Foutz Motorsports. Nice to see a local group getting us Raptorians out to the...
Nice amps. But you would probably have better luck selling them on DIYMA. Dont know how many people here know about Audio Control products and their long history in high end car audio. GLWS
I really like the look of this cover, the price is right, steel vs aluminum, etc. And I'm in the same boat with 100K miles coming up soon. But,... my only reservation is the lack of a drain plug. I know its not a big deal to loosen the bolts and let it drain, but why break a gasket seal if you...
Fiberglass parts have a Gelcoat finish sprayed into the mold first to get a smooth surface to paint over and not show any fiber strands through the surface. What it looks like to me is cracks in the gelcoat under the paint, but not in the fiberglass itself. Could be from an impact or maybe even...
Years ago when I bought my truck used, it had the rattle. I did the surgical tubing inside the weatherstrip trick and it has been silent ever since. Got the tubing from Amazon for cheap and used a razor blade to cut a slit in the weatherstrip to get it inside (soap & water helps). Give it a try.
While I dont have his install skills, its fun to build your own box. I did a stealth rack & dual sub box combo under my rear seat and it was a lot of fun to build and it doesnt draw attention to itself. Looking forward to some pics
I should have time this weekend to explore further and post back if I find anything.
Noah, if it is a Data issue. how can that be tracked down? no other issues than the rear camera not reading. and that's only in the heat of the day.
Thanks for the tip. I'll check into that harness and connector. Hoping its just the connector although I do live in a dry climate, so I dont suspect corrosion there.
I'm wondering if many others here are having issues with their rear camera? Mine is starting to show an error message saying the rear view camera is not available. Seems to be more often in the heat of the day than the morning. It was just an occasional annoyance, but its happening more...
I think you'll find the pogo issue gets better with the Gieser springs. it almost completely goes away on small bumps. The progressive wind gives them a soft spot in the first part of the compression travel. With Gen 1 trucks, i decided to run them at mid perch since the low perch setting made...
Watching too. Im in this boat as well. I'm running gieser springs on stock shocks that are about due for a rebuild. Posted here for opinions about Forged off road rebuild program and got mixed reviews. I dont off road too hard and cant afford Kings, but something better than stock valving would...
Its a truck demographic, not Ford specific. I hear the same 'My Chevy, My Ram, My Tacoma is better than your Ford' daily at work. Call it passion, difference of opinion, or whatever. I just call it FAKE NEWS. HA
