I have been driving on the Toyo Open Country MT 35x12.5r17 tires for 1000 miles and at at this point I am disappointed in the tires. The road ride, when compared to the stock BFG KO2 ATs feels very loose and a little out of control. It feels like there is more float in the steering than before...
I just picked up the Corsa Sport Side Exit Catback with Silver Tips for $851.64 using the coupon code "corsasave" ($30 off any Corsa exhaust). Seemed like the best deal I have seen in a while.
I'd have to agree they look pretty bad from that picture. Are those the same ones in the top picture that I posted? Seems like the rings are different at least. I was sort of wondering if the one I posted was a one-off wheel since they are trying to promote the new raptor.
I guess I am back...
I keep eyeballing the beadlock wheels that appear to be an option on the new 2017 Raptors like the one seen below.
I am assuming this is a Ford created wheel from the SVT team but I could be wrong and wanted to know if anybody in the forum has more information about those wheels.
I am also...
I would expect that the cost on these cages changes based on what the customer asks for but I was wondering if you could provide a price range for getting one of these installed.
As a side note, I saw one of these being built in the RPG shop when I visited a few months ago and it looked very...
For what it is worth, I purchased the new maps and went on a road trip. I noted several times in Utah where the speed limits were incorrect, and the overall map experience wasn't any better.
If I had to do it over again I would have saved my money and continued to use the old maps.
Maybe a different way to look at it: I worked on more trucks in college because I met so many people there who shared my affinity for offroading. While you will learn stuff about whatever field you are studying, more learning happens outside the classroom while you are there. It is very rare...
Another thought would be to check you MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor). It is easy to check and easy to clean. Make sure you use a cleaner specifically designed for the MAF, like the one from CRC
Hope this helps!
I find especially in the dunes that I am using the gear selector in first and second most times especially when I am trying to get up and bank across a large dune. I think this is perfectly fine for the transmission but it does wind out the engine a bit.
On a side note I was thinking about...
Not this time around. I will probably clean the MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) on my next oil change since the engine starts fine and idles smoothly right now.
I may be totally off here, but I think CB's usually pipe out very low power for an external speaker, is possible that you don't have enough power to move the 25W center-channel speaker?
After Replacing Air Filter I received:
Hill Descent Control Fault
Service Advance Track Fault
Wrench Fault
Check Engine Light
I was doing an oil change today and replaced the air filter in the process. Everything looked good before I replaced the air filter but after installing the air...
Welcome to FRF!
I am guessing you own your 17 Raptor all of 20 minutes before you start thinking of how to upgrade it... I think it is just a function of loving to make amazing stuff even better.
Sick setup on the ranger. That looks like a ton of fun.
Welcome Luke, to FRF and San Jose (the rat-race)!
I would start off by saying you can do the shocks yourself! It isn't too technical (especially for the rears). We have a great place around here called Pit Row that will provide you with a lift and all the tools you need if you didn't truck your...
Yes, I am running the new coils on mid perch. Also note, when you look at the last picture of the truck, I am also running the RPG Stage 3 rear suspension with the RPG HD springs.
I just got it aligned today and drove it over some rough roads and tested it in 4wd. I didn't feel any binding...
