Any thoughts on auto shop for upgrading shocks around would be great

Found Hollister recreational park fist week here
Blown power steering, tree in the side scratch front back top to bottom looks like a 4x4 now

I would start off by saying you can do the shocks yourself! It isn't too technical (especially for the rears). We have a great place around here called Pit Row that will provide you with a lift and all the tools you need if you didn't truck your tools out with you from Utah.

I posted a thread about replacing the coils of the front shocks, that will give you the information you need if you are doing a direct replacement of the front ones.

The rear shocks are pretty easy to remove, just jack up the rear take them out, replace with new ones, lower the truck, then tighten the bolts (tighten after you have load on the wheels). I also posted a more involved rear RPG suspension upgrade too if that is what you are looking to do.

If you are't interested in getting your hands dirty though, Mission Valley Truck Center is a quality Ford shop. They aren't the cheapest game in town, but my limited experience with them was good and I think they know what they are doing.

Being a SJ brother, give me a holler if you want backup at Hollister or Oceano Dunes. Always happy to help work on trucks too.

Hollister hills is not really a raptor place, but it can be done. as far as shops go, it depends on what you want done. mid perch only, or complete shock replacement? I no longer live there, but have many contacts if you need
