I pulled mine this morning and it works as advertised. Simple, easy to accomplish, easy to reverse. Everything else works normally. I’ll replace the plug when I tow (which is rarely). Nothing to buy. You don’t have to take plastic parts in your dash apart. You don’t have to mess with...
I’ve had my 2018 (802A) for about two weeks and I love the truck. It seems like I briefly (few seconds) lose reception frequently. My previous vehicles would do this rarely if the view to the sky was obstructed IE trees. This is happening in wide open places. Anyone having the same issue? Is...
FWIW Akins in Winder GA still has about ten 2018’s. They are advertising them at $4,000 below MSRP. They told on Monday not to expect the same on the 2019’s for now. Factor in the $2,000 plus increment in price and by my math you have $6,000 plus for stuff (assuming you get the 2019 @MSRP). YMMV.
Dropped the tire pressures to 38, delivered @40+. Installed the box link tie down cleats (PITA - required re-engineering). Replaced the halogen license tag bulbs with LED's (harder than it looked in the video). Felt very satisfied with myself, enjoyed an adult beverage.
I had the same issue (beadlocks) with mine. On the 2018’s the beadlocks added about $1,200 to the sticker. You can buy really nice after after market wheels for that price. Right now my front runners are the VR602’s, which are on sale this week. I’m still trying to decide.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know why an oil catch can was not included in the design by Ford engineers and installed by the factory? It seems like a small incremental cost on a 50K plus vehicle. I don’t get it.
