Thanks for the info, I may be up that way in a month or two. Id like to feel the ride difference and compare ride height in person before i invest. Ill shoot you a direct message if i do make it up that way. For now mid- perch with the new shocks.
Im still debating it, i enjoy the current ride. Huge reason why i opted for a raptor. I may put new shocks on mid-perch and go from there. Im located in Spartanburg. You?
@PD1744 How do those Eibachs ride compared to Mid-perch? Getting new shocks soon, thought about going ahead and upgrading coils while its all in pieces.
Drop your roof wrap pics below!!!
Morning. I passed a white gen 2 raptor with a black roof on the highway this morning. It caught my eye and thought it looked pretty slick. What's yalls opinion/experience on roof wraps? I have been searching the internet for a Gen 1 with something similar but...
Hey boss,I understand this is an old thread but couldn’t help myself. Both your front bumper and grille look great. I was looking to re-paint both of mine and do something similar to yours. Do you have the paint code for that grille and bumper color? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I do not, but looking at the skid plate i think it is an (addoffroad) front bumper.

Not a bad price but personally I would not buy used considering you never know how the previous owner used them. 2" is alot more than i would like personally. But to each there own...... Here is a closeup pic i found a while back ago when i was looking. Just to give you a better idea of what a...
Great point. Very important that you realize 1.5" is the smallest wheel adapter you can put on your truck without having to cut your factory studs. Anything smaller than this for ex: (1" or 1"25) you will have to cut your factory studs to enable your wheel to fit on flush with the adapter.
Thanks-
I have had ZERO issues with the BORA wheel adapters so far. Great on the highway going highspeeds for 4-5 hours at a time while traveling and do great off-road. Road noise did increase a slight bit but that is a given- other than that- No issues. I would highly suggest going for wheel...
Welcome to the Forum and the 1st gen crew. Sounds like your struggling with a similar situation i was. I can tell by the pics of your past truck that you like the looks of the factory bead locks like myself. I wanted to keep the factory SVT wheels but still get that aggressive stance from...
Thank you, i am waiting a response if he still has it. Quick question, obviously I have a 2013 Gen 1 and the rear axel for sale came off of a Gen 2. Are these rear axels interchangeable? Can i put a Gen 2 rear axel on a Gen 1? Is it do able?
Gotcha, that is exactly what im looking to do. Dont trust myself playing with gears and spacers and etc... If you know of anyone looking to sell an entire rear assembly in whole. Send them my way please.
I agree, 7K is absorb. I might just go the route of replacing the housing itself and swapping over th ring and pinion gears myself. What was that process like for you?
I wish this was the case, a simple axel shaft. Unfortunately it is the entire axel housing that is bent fairly bad. No telling what the previous owner hit or was hit by but I'm trying my best to find a used assembly.
Thanks, Im not really looking to spend $7000 or i would have entertained the idea of a currie over the dealership rebuild. Thanks though. Im looking to spend around 2-3 grand on a refurbished or used full rear axel assembly. Hoping to get lucky and find someone who recently did the currie...
Goodafternoon,
I NEED YOUR HELP. Im looking all around for a full gen 1 rear axel assembly. Unfortunately when i took my recently purchased 2013 raptor SCREW to the dealership for a whirling noise in the rear end they came to the conclusion that my axel was bent and needed a full replace...
WOW!! Great looking truck, welcome to the Gen 1 club you will not regret it. Get readY to have a big smile on your face every time you get in it. Happy to have you! Best of luck to you and your truck.
That sounds great, that is exactly what i am looking for. Unfortunately Tasca parts only sells the housing and not the full assembly. If you could be on the look out for a full assembled rear axel that would be great.
Thanks
