Wheel Locks - Locking Lug Nuts Revisited

These are black, probably available in chrome. They have the standard 60° bulge. I got mine through Apollo Optics.

GEN 1 Rubbing on 35s with stock wheels

Have your alignment checked. If the caster/camber are out it will rub.

    Transmission Filter and Fluid Change

It's a slightly messy job but easy enough, you need sockets, extensions ratchet, fluid pump (cheap one works fine), fluid and drain pan, don't even need to jack the truck up. Knock it out! If your not handy just about any place that does automotive service will be glad to take your money to do...

    Coolant drain procedure needed.

How much coolant did you remove? It takes just a few minutes to pull the thermostat, and it is o ringed so there shouldn't be any trouble with gasketing or leaks. Remove it, reassemble do your flush and fill then reinstall the thermostat. It will save you a bunch of time and hassle.

Placement of spare tire for 37's?

Take the money you would spend on 37's and buy a beater 90's f150 to use for work. Raptor freedom.

GEN 1 Oddity or odd titty

Could be leftover casting sand. Flush, fill, monitor.

GEN 1 2014 Raptor rear diff

Contact Timken bearing and get the part numbers, you may be able to get them to ship directly to you. I think they are part number 5304-05069402. Once you have that it will be much easier to get them locally rather than trying to get the ford version of the part.

    Gen 1 driver seat heater

Zip ties are awesome and all but I wouldn't recommend them for that application. Its constant high stress/fatigue situation, they will last a while but I wouldn't consider them an appropriate replacement. Hog rings are perfect for this (that's why upholsterers use them) and even if they are...

    Gen 1 driver seat heater

I'm going to have to review my write up, it is an easy enough job. Didn't mean to make it seem intimidating. Seat foam is easy, once you have the covers off it just pops out. Don't let that slow you down.

Metal banding loose noise whenever going over a bump/crack in road

I had something similar, ended up being my door check. Does your door hinge area make a bunch of noise when you open and close it?

Wasnt the Blend Door, Now What?

Did you change the blend door or the blend door actuator? The actuator is the "servo", if you replaced the blend door that's your problem.

    Gen 1 driver seat heater

https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/replace-seat-heaters-cushions-and-upholstery.79843/ Buy the element kit, follow this guide. My other 2011 did exactly what your talking about when it failed. If you aren't tight on cash its worth replacing the seat bottom cushion while you have it apart.

    Moab

I ran the Bartlett wash trail and a portion of the Crystal Geyser loop this past weekend. Bartlett is built for the Raptor, and beautiful with great overlooks and plenty of terrain change, awesome soft sand washes, very fast stretches and whoop type terrain. Crystal Geyser safari loop is...

Post Your Wheel and Tire Pics !

The Venomrex take standard lugs. I went with the vr602, they balanced up fine and have been good off road. The weight reduction was tangible from the 20's the PO had on them.

    Cylinder head/Cam kit

Wait, I'm the ignorant one? Do you really think it's ok to come on a forum, as a shop and advertise your kits without even considering the forum? Do you think these things are free to run? Looking at your posting history: every post you have on this forum is related to your kits, your build and...

    Cylinder head/Cam kit

Thanks for that link. I have been following that build, it's nicely done and I am aware you are the same person. Flying off the handle and calling someone ignorant is no way to create trust when someone calls you out. Your not posting things publicly, your forcing people to get info via PM...

    Cylinder head/Cam kit

So no direct comparison of the head work before after? Not to sound like a total **** but this whole thread screams of scam. Unknown person who is not a site vendor posting questionable dyno charts, minimal photos, no video. Buyer beware. Don't send this guy any money based on what is in this...

    Bi-Polar Raptor

Ball joint failure isn't going to come and go, or get better as components warm up. That's why I pointed to tires. Ball joint check is easy, jack up the corner of the truck, try to rock the wheel top to bottom, if you get play you know you have a severely worn ball joint. If you don't have...

    GEN 1 Tire pressure for 37 KO2

I think Ford suggests that pressure to hit their economy ratings. I run mine around 32.

    Bi-Polar Raptor

Sounds like you have a tire that is flat spotting from sitting. Does it seem to be worse when you don't drive the truck for a while?

    MBRP Turn Down Sound Clip

Take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld a resonator in. The larger the resonator case the better its going to do at helping this.

GEN 1 2011 - Why is my instrument cluster different?

Pull that fuse, start the truck. If it won't start or dies real quick you know that's your new fuel fuse. The fuse 27 kit is around $20, seems worthwhile.

Coolant leak and power steering leak question............?

Any scent of coolant coming through the HVAC system? Any residue on the inside of your windshield? The rack is on its way out. Just keep it topped off with fluid, it will last a while.
