you're missing an important data point...
My truck is a 2018. The bulk of these trucks "with the issue" are 19s or 20s.
The exo staff trucks are pre-2019. The variable could be any number of things.
anyone looking at the underside of your truck that isn't you doesn't make financial decisions for you anyway.
I know getting your mod cherry popped is a special thing. It's okay to be nervous. I'm just glad that I got to be part of it. :evillol:
nope. not at all.
Randy Savage did a fly-by in his gintani svj when I was in a buddy's car. All I can say is YES.
Wait till y'all hear the MercedesAMG Project One in person. SOOOOOOOO much YES. I can't say how or why, but I have been in one and it's the first car that I've ever been in...
that's the high mount.
you want that one, and this one:
http://www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-Ford-Super-Duty-2005-Low-Mount-Stabilizer-p/cs-flmss-05.htm
you need to add the dif guard to the low mount. The inboard "mount" for the low stabilizer is part of the dif guard.
can you do me a solid and ask engineering to design a rack that will hold up to 40s? They can release it as a Ford Performance part. I'll line up to buy 3. :D;)
Carli sells two options for steering stabilizers. I'd highly recommend getting both of them. One is a direct bolt-on factory replacement. The other is their "low" stabilizer that comes with a front differential guard too. They install and function opposing each other.
Until I put the lower...
I've been putting off replacing mine for a while.
When I do replace it, I plan to use one of these...

I went to safelite to have my F250 glass replaced. No issues whatsoever. I had only had my truck for 2...
like I stated previously in this thread, I get it. My truck has done it, once. When it happened I got on the brakes hard while steering because I misread the terrain and the "bump" in front of me was much larger than I thought. When it happened, The computer's overcorrection destroyed one of the...
I 100% agree with everything that you said from your perspective. Helio isn't a bad guy, but I do feel like he suffers from the same paradigm as a lot of folks that want to partake in the whole offroad/desert truck lifestyle. They just don't "get" that the hobby is incredibly expensive.
They...
I have not found a shop able to loop the steering circuits like that. there are a few shops that make swingset setups for gen2 raptors.
and by "make", I mean the actual fabricated setup that installs in place of the front differential.
I've spoken to both. Neither has figured out how to loop...
I plug mine in if it is going to be below 20. that's really my own personal habit, not necessarily a "rule". I'm from the south. below 20 feels like hell froze over to me.
last time I checked, there were 3 different, concurrent part numbers just for 2018 raptor steering racks.
When you swap an incompatible part into the truck, it will let you steer, but the modes don't work and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree, even after initialization/programming.
I...
Hilariously enough, the secret to keeping a gen2 with big tires happy offroad is ... wait for it.
wait for it.
wait for it.
soft hands.
I wear gloves when i drive my truck hard. they help me to not try to muscle the wheel. You can absolutely...
1. I know Helio. He is a good dude. The truck he has now has given him a lot of weird steering issues. I think it is preposterous that y'all want to paint him as the devil because he wants Ford to fix the steering behavior. He's legit had to tighten the steering wheel regularly due to the truck...
