I'm guessing whoever replaced the actuators, removed those cheesy plastic/aluminum IWE's, etc, wasn't asked to check diff fluid level & condition, inspect the driveshaft, and spin those axles while listening...

    Kinda makes you wonder why Alcons aren't at least an option on the Raptor R models. Once you break the $100,000 ceiling, what's another $5K for the best brakes available? Porsche models have performance brake options, FoMoCo should too.

    If it's visible, but not actually dripping then it's grease from within the axle and not oil from the diff.

    FoMoCo claims these are "lifetime" transmissions, declaring the trans juice is good up to 150,000 miles, or 100K under "severe" conditions.

    They could have just used the next larger diameter braided hose so that products like the Mityvac vacuum pump tube could slide inside the larger hose. They've known about this since the 6R80 was first produced in 2005, yet not a single aftermarket company has done it.

    Those both claim you can "fill" the trans through that tiny tube. I call b.s. on that.

    Anybody who has ever landed on the door or the roof can appreciate transmission fluid NOT dumping near the catalytic converter; usually at the same moment you're distracted by a screaming passenger and struggling to open the door.

    This is the fence mod I had already started to keep the dog from escaping. The "fixed" fence all looks like this now: a steel bracket with 3 separate stranded steel cables that surround the 2acre parcel. Anybody driving through that is gonna be stuck awhile.
