Blah blah blah.
Musk figures out a workaround for stuff like this on the daily. If FoMoCo cannot pivot from their "let's have a meeting about this" to Tesla's proven ability to adapt and overcome challenges, including creating new methods and materials, they are done. While the big 3 still...
That's disappointing that a company that big, with a century of experience, couldn't just put the call out to all those domestic shops with cnc capabilities and FIX THIS. Unless they are really bad at paying vendors, or there's nobody still doing machining, or the raw material isn't available...
Don't be a tease. Let's see the side view. BTW That dovecut fender looks so good, so... Raptor , that you wonder why FoMoCo didn't do it to begin with.
So the difference now is that the axles, diff, & front driveshaft are always spinning. I'm guessing whoever replaced the actuators, removed those cheesy plastic/aluminum IWE's, etc, wasn't asked to check diff fluid level & condition, inspect the driveshaft, and spin those axles while listening...
This seller in Santa Ana, CA is offering a pair of Gen 2 shocks he claims are low mileage takeoffs.

I'd at least check it out for that price. .
How much are the (rear) 3.0 Gen 2 shocks? These are (allegedly) nib on eBay. $680+tax each.

Kinda makes you wonder why Alcons aren't at least an option on the Raptor R models. Once you break the $100,000 ceiling, what's another $5K for the best brakes available? Porsche models have performance brake options, FoMoCo should too.
They could have just used the next larger diameter braided hose so that products like the Mityvac vacuum pump tube could slide inside the larger hose. They've known about this since the 6R80 was first produced in 2005, yet not a single aftermarket company has done it.
It's a couple hours to remove and replace it. A messy job, BTW you're supposed to replace those big bolts (metric wrench size is just over 1"). The power steering pump fittings are hard to reach, you need to lock the steering wheel in place to avoid ******** up the clockspring, and THEN you can...
Show us the thermostat set at a nice cool 68° (at high noon), while you're rocking flip flops and a cold frosty beverage, and I promise you we will ALL be jealous, (especially those of us in the Hi Dez who are welding steel today)!
Anybody who has ever landed on the door or the roof can appreciate transmission fluid NOT dumping near the catalytic converter; usually at the same moment you're distracted by a screaming passenger and struggling to open the door.
This is the fence mod I had already started to keep the dog from escaping. The "fixed" fence all looks like this now: a steel bracket with 3 separate stranded steel cables that surround the 2acre parcel. Anybody driving through that is gonna be stuck awhile.
