From what I have learned in looking for my replacement mirror is that the Raptor only shares the mirror with the high end Platinums. They are the only ones that had the Autodimming, Motorized retractor, and Defroster on the mirrors. Even the junk yards want a lot for our mirrors.

I have not had any issues with these and radio interference.

I run a windows virtual machine on my Mac to update my tuner. Only way to do it as of now. I doubt they are going to port there software to the Mac platform.

Mine did the same thing. They send me new plates.

I use diffused. It keeps the light where it's needed without overpowering the camera.

I had not problems carrying my second spare down there.

I think your odds are better at the hotel parking lots. But on the trail I agree with Jason. Maybe 40% at hotel. And -13% on trail.

That was my plan also last year. I did not need to make it happen, thankfully. I will say that at the stops there is enough time to chip away at the snow/ice with tools and a blow torch to allow ya to change them out but it will be some work.
