anyone towing anything should be the only one solely in control of the vehicle. I wouldn’t rely on tech to keep my trailer straight, regards of length. Crosswinds can move your truck, and the computer wouldn’t think anything of it and correct the truck which could in turn start fish tailing the...
Here is a link to a write up that I did regarding my relocation. Hopefully it helps! https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/does-anyone-have-gen-3-acc-working-after-bumper-mod.98825/page-2#post-2005023
Wanted to see what you guys thought on the subject. About to roll over 30k and wanted to do a tune up and change spark plugs. Low cost item, but wanted to upgrade. Any thoughts on something that I can run that wouldn’t require a tune that deviates from stock?
I can’t run a tune yet cause 2023
As my above comment states, this is where I am getting confused. You replied to a comment that assumes you are testing a bare AUX3 wire, but your comment makes it seem like you still have things wired to it. Forget wiring anything to it. Confirm the bare AUX 3 cable next to the battery even has...
So wait, I might have missed it to just skimmed over it, but if you turn the truck on, and have NOTHING connected to the aux 3 wire, do you have any sort of power going to that cable? If not, take the truck to ford and tell them to fix it.
Cool, didn’t know that honestly. Not sure why it seems that every video I watch about the cybertruck it’s showcasing the fly by wire steering then. Strange.
I know that fly by wire tech has been around for years, but never in a production vehicle for steering, so that is something worth noting as innovative.
I never said it is something we should want or desire, but coming from someone who is a systems engineer by career, it is just exciting to me...
I'm not saying the entire thing is an innovation, but items about it sure are. The fly by wire steering is seriously impressive and is the first production vehicle to have that if I read correctly, which can easily show that it can be a mass produced part in a car. The body panel builds and the...
I'm sure you can take most engineering marvel's and point out design or engineering flaws, but my point still stands that the work that was done on that truck is amazing. Innovation doesn't happen through perfection, and more often then not no one really remembers the absolute failures of...
I watched a very in depth video on it to include full testing of power train, towing, etc. Personally, EVs just don’t fit my lifestyle, and that’s fine, they do fit some people’s lifestyles.
Some of the engineering advancements in it are truly amazing though. The body construction and strength...
Alright so I know this has been posted before, and I have opened the appropriate threads and commented on them but no one has got back to me yet. It's only been a day, but I will be pulling the trigger on this purchase soon so I need answers before I do that.
I have a 35 2023 and I am looking...
What are your wheels specs if you don’t mind? I have a 35 truck but with 17x8.5 +0 offset and want to get 37’s on when it’s time for new tires. I have read that I’ll be fine for 37’s with the perch collars but I’m just curious. Thanks!
Reviving this comment. I wanna put 37’s on my 35 and through research found that street driving will be no issue but if looking to off-road I should invest in the perch collars. I’m totally going to do it, but wanted to know if you could recommend what size I should get? Would 3” be too...
Damn you’re getting 13 in your rebel? Talk about led foot. My 2020 rebel was leveled on 22x12’s with 35’s and I averaged like 16.5. With my Gen 3 I’m at more or less the same on 35’s.
