Good luck dealing with Livernois. I swapped their 6.6 in mine and have had all types of valve train issues. Ordered the crate 6.6 from them and had a high end shop here install it.

All new frame cut and plated, all aux / switch pro rewiring front to back, all new SVC front Mid travel, Forged Offroad's front and rear bump stop kit, rear fox 3.0 bypasses rebuilt, Howe PS, rear PRP...
Not that I’ve ever seen. And most do it with a long travel vs mid travel since your custom fabbing anyway. We’ll see how well the HOWE & SVC tie rods hold up, most have seen almost no issues with that combo and a stock rack.

Forged Offroad's attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. Even heat shrinked the band clamps on the rezis.
Lots of extra plating at known weak points. In front of body mount where bypass mount is welded to frame, top of coil bucket, inside coil bucket, front and rear alignment...
So it was caged. But it was more of a made for TV cage / insurance purposes. I ended up cutting it out. Was not full 360 welded in various spots, not tucked up to the headliner well, etc. would have done more harm then good so yes a cage is the next major mod.
Can’t you read Noah?? Lol the truck got shipped to Forged and that’s where all the work is being done. Probably the only salvageable parts are the drivers side front suspension anyway. The passengers is all compromised in many places.
The previous motor was destroyed on a TV show by Kurt Busch a couple years ago. So I ended up upgrading to the Livernois 6.6L Stroker and made sure the upgrade was covered.
Correct, most of the expensive mods, lights, and especially the motor were added to the policy in the event of a total loss. So we're no where near the covered value.

Well, it was 2 fucking months to the day. But the truck is finally out of the shop...kind of. It initially went in for 3 issues all covered under extended warranty. 1: Starting issue, 2: Backup camera malfunction, 3: Broken dip stick tube.

100% agree. And if I forgot to mention, it has always started. It will just make that noise you attributed to the starter, and take a few times. Drive 5 min home and try and start and it starts perfect.
