Mostly deep desert with some rocky mountains in the north. Not as vast as California.
I chuckled at your falling out the car. But luckily it jackknifed and didn't get swallowed by the water!
Yep. I always make sure the hear the click and see that its fully seated on the base of the ball.
When enabling temperature above the gauges, what shows above the turbo (if you've selected turbo).
Right now or it shows violent temp over coolant gauge and transmission temp over transmission gauge.
When I switch over to turbo gauge, it simply says turbo over the turbo gauge.
Thanks.
I don't drive in M very often.
Maybe a couple of times a week
But this has happened twice
After coming to a stop during manual mode, the car gear feels very heavy. As if I was in a high gear - imagine trying to drive off in 4th gear.
I tried the obvious, shifting gears down. But it showed it...
I purchased one prior to reading this thread. Kinda skimmed through it.
At this point, I'm unsure I'll keep the device for 2 reasons:
Company refusing to technically stand behind their product. A product that if malfunctioned could be detrimental.
Are there other detrimental stock parts on the...
Yeah trailer tires are generally low quality.
At least the ones available locally.
Made in Vietnam and I wouldn't put them on a mountain bicycle.
I maintain mine as well
Lube the joints
Tighten bolts
Check tire pressure every time I load my buggy
I got the best trailer tire available...
Yep
Certainly won't be repairing.
Either stock or aftermarket.
I said repair in my initial post because I was hoping superior would say 'yeah, you can just replace the outer panel without having to get a whole new tail gate'. But I doubt I can easily do that.
Yep, going to get a new tail gate...
Yep
Certain
But the notch that clasp goes over appears to have become dull.
The clasp is tight of I pull upwards with all my strength.
But the two times the clasp came undone was when I rode the buggy you the ramp a little too fast. I'd say about 9kph/6mph. And as soon as the tires, at that...
unexplainable thing happened after my first service (vehicle's 3rd service)
I purchased my 2017 with about 1,000 miles on the odometer -
and I enabled a bunch of things with FORscan like
- disabled auto start/stop
- temp over gauges
- fake engine noise (damn you Ford for the insult)
After my...
Used FORScan to:
- bambi mode (high and low beams in tandem)
- turn off seat belt reminder
- chime when starting up vehicle
- door ajar
- double honk when closing door while vehicle running and key not in car
- temps above gauges
Yes, thanks.
Has a latch.
Looks like the notch is a bit worn out maybe.
I also now tether the trailer to the tow point on the car with a chain.
So if it does unhitch, it's still tethered.
You know what's particularly painful? This same thing happened to me a year ago on my Nissan patrol...
Hi everyone
Was driving my buggy onto my trailer and I must've been driving a bit faster than normal.
The trailer unhitched from the tow ball, went skyward and then landed on my tail gate.
What options do I have?
Repair?
Stock replacement?
Aftermarket replacement?
Thanks
Yes, I was offered a complementary Ziebart undercoating last service.
It could be it.
perhaps the Ziebart undercoating
is the heat shield a metallic color?
looks like they got the Ziebart undercoating on the heat shield as well?
yes, you're right. I thought maybe the shock oil turned...
If you're driving casually in sports mode, shifts will feel stiff and you'll feel the jerk when it changes.
But if you're WOT or spirited driving, the shifts in sport are smooth.
Regarding gears:
Two comments:
1- shifting you and down from 5 is iffy
Sometimes I'll feel the shift was slow
