There is a happy medium somewhere. Again, I feel this truck sacrifices too much to accomplish the ride quality. Great if you or anyone else doesn’t! Glad you love the truck but I also find this forum refuses to even talk about that balance…it’s strange.
Personally, I feel that these guys that...
I’ll go out on a limb and say 99% of Raptor owner don’t own them to be a $70k toy.
I had a valid reason for wanting this truck. I own a camp in the Maine North Woods. It’s thousands of miles of dirt logging roads and it takes about 2.5 hours to get to camp after hitting dirt. This truck is...
You can ignore actual every day life if you’d like but the reality is that nobody buys this truck to simply bomb down dirt roads. If you can deal with it’s sacrifices, great! I personally think it’s an overpriced Jeep Gladiator.
Perfectly predictable response. I love guys that cry "ranting" or "complaining" on a forum. The literal purpose of a forum is to create discussions. You simply don't like what I'm saying and rather than have any independent thought process you spew "Super Duty"...what a dumb argument that's...
Lol, I haven’t been to this forum in almost a year and it’s great to see nothing has changed. Meat sticks talking about how “people just don’t understand the SUPERTRUCK” anytime it fails at being an actual truck.
Ive owned mine for about 2 years now and it will be sold as soon as I’m not upside...
There is no way you'll be able to do a 5th wheel. As stated above, the short bed alone will be a no-go. There are some very expensive solutions for short beds but then you run into the tongue weight. Even the small ultra-light 5th wheels are running about 1200lb tongue weights.
I only have 9k...
The "correct" rope to have is more than one if you can afford them. I already have a 30K rope. in 2 situations this past winter that rope was undersized so I also wanted one that was complete overkill. I've also been watching Matt's Recovery for years. You ever see the videos of him recovering a...
Is it tho? I had to rip an oil truck out of a snowbank this winter. I bought the 52K soft shackle. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071DK3NTD/?tag=fordraptorforum-20 That will be the weak point so if anything breaks it only cost me $49 for a new shackle.
I tried stuffing it under the rear seat and it's awkward as hell. Took me about 10 mins to get it in the right position to not get jammed up in the seat brackets when putting the seat down. Are the Bubba Ropes more flexible than the cheaper brands? The rope I have is an Amazon special that I...
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm looking for a solution outside of throwing it in the bed. I can easily throw it in a bin but I find that when you need the bed space, you end up leaving the rope at home. I was looking for maybe something along the lines of wrapping it around some sort of mount...
Where are you guys storing your kinetic rope? It's something I want to keep in the truck 24/7 because I've never been stuck "when I planned for it". I also pull more people out of snowbanks than anything else. The rope is bulky and doesn't really fit well anywhere. I'm thinking about trying to...
I agree. Almost $2K for top of the line covers with integrated roof racks. I was looking at the Retrax Pro. The price doesn't include the Rhino Rack. If you add the Vortex it's an additional $700...
I received the incorrect order, sent them an email and received a call back in less than 30mins. This was a few months ago just before the entire planet shut down. Try calling, with businesses shut down, you never know what their situation is looking like.
