I called them a few days ago and gave them an offer and they said we have a pending offer for higher and its still on the lot...they are just playing games. I follow up and they still say the same thing week after week so I gave up
Ordered 12/28 and I am tired of asking updates on my truck if its scheduled or not. Just gonna let the process happen and not worry about anymore...its just frustrating how Ford is handling this and nothing has been scheduled for a month.
All of Austin area Ford dealers suck. Most of them have 15k+ ADM. Houston is better since they have more dealers and are more competitive in pricing and is where I ordered mine from.
I already have an order placed since 12/28 with a diff dealer but the dealer you are talking about doesn't have an allocation. I live 15 min away from that place.
lol don't keep your hopes up! Yours maybe next year possibly...They have barely scheduled Nov and Dec orders yet and those are looking towards late 3rd or 4th quarter.
Covert Ford of Austin don't give a f***....they are a large dealership that get 15-20 allocations for Raptors. I hate that place and would never give them business.
Gotcha! Doesn't go more into detail about dealer/stock orders. Since you have a dealer order, your window sticker will be updated to reflect the new price increase. That is all done by Ford when they issue the window sticker.
Didn't know that! Good to know but I guess it still didn't help. XLT doesn't have all the tech stuff so 1300 sounds right compared to Raptors that have 1800 chips. Well...might as well stop all production except for the Raptors and we will get our trucks in 1 month lol
Since there are chip issues in Ford. I had an idea that Ford should halt production for the least selling vehicle and take the chips from those vehicles and use them for other vehicles in demand. Just a thought/idea! Is it possible? Wanted to make a new thread because I got tired of reading...
I don't think I'm ever getting a VIN with these plant shutdowns and no scheduling BS. Maybe it's time to buy a Prius!! Hate to say it! I'll post pictures of my 2022 Prius when I get it...and hopefully I get all my ambient lighting on it too.
Never said they are affiliated with vehicle sales, scheduling or manufacturing. Checking vehicle order status is listed on their support page so im sure it's part of their job. If it wasn't listed then it's not.
