I'm curious if you were ever able to get a resolution on the flashing 2H and climate control issue? My truck is doing the same thing, and the dealer can't get me in until the end of March. Thanks.

I've driven the entire Dirt Devil several times in both a Gen-1 and Gen-2. There isn't anywhere even remotely challenging unless the water is high from a recent storm. Some of the water crossings can become impassable during storms, but they drain off pretty quickly. Most of the roads are...
I haven't run the truck in hot enough weather to see any difference with the lights blocking airflow. If you have upgraded front springs, I think you'll never notice any difference handling-wise with the winch and lights up front. I think upgrading the front and rear springs is pretty much...
It looks like you figured this out, but I'll add some info for the next guy who tries this.
I went through the passenger side floor. There is a grommet you can run through much easier if you need to bring a bundle into the cab without pissing yourself off with the engine bay grommet or if you...
The Swarfworks mount is definitely stout! Install was quite simple and can be done by one person to mount everything up and wire all of the lights in a couple of hours at an easy pace.
The 4 LP-9's may be overkill, but the amount of light output is worth it for me. I also have a 40" Baja...
The N-Fab mount has had a lot of complaints about how weak it is, and the light just bounces all over while you drive. I like the looks, so I grabbed a Swarfworks mount with 4 LP-9s and a set of LP-4s. My setup will look like the blue truck in the Swarfworks picture above. I checked out Paul's...
There is some good advice in this thread. If you're coming from Florida for your first Snoball, you should definitely plan to be out of your truck shoveling. LOL
Every year there are guys who wear jeans and tennis shoes, but it must suck to get a shoe full of snow or to have wet pants all day...
Definitely use environmental butt splices. I still generally cover mine with heat shrink for a clean uniform look once they are sealed up. Also, if you aren't familiar with wiring, try to get a friend to show you how to do it properly.
I also commonly see people using undersized wire for the...
Something I just thought of. If you are having the rails added by someone else, ask them to use a small "Eye Nut" in at least 6 positions (if not all) on the inside. It will give you little eyelets on the ceiling to hang things. A bungee net would be handy when camping to stash a jacket in or...
Mine came with the rails installed and I put everything else together. The rails get installed the same whether you buy the shell with them or they are installed later. The kits for the rails are widely available, but if you don't feel comfortable installing rails, anywhere that sells the shell...
I have a 40" Baja Designs onX6 Racer bar on mine upfront. It is mounted so it's flush to the surface of the rack and it doesn't provide any additional height. I get zero noise from it and the Racer version projects light far enough forward and in such a tight beam that I have no issues with hood...
This dudes youtube channel does a pretty decent overview of the iKamper tents. There is more room than you would think in a lot of these tents, but you definitely aren't going to get enough room to stand up and change or do a lot of other desirable things when you're camping. I think the awning...
I'd also suggest checking out some of the hard shell rooftop tents like the James Baroud or the iKamper. Both of those are super fast to set up and stow just as quickly. The hardshell tents are a little more expensive but offer some other options also.
How does your cell booster antenna perform inside there? I have mine on a rack above the cap just to get more unobstructed height, but a lower profile inside mount is attractive.
That's what I used. My harness was plug and play for the reverse lights and upfitters. I had to do the tap in the tail light and then just cut off the excess once I was ready to connect to the upfitter switch wire in the engine compartment. I ran my harness inside the frame along the passenger...
My ass end sagged after I installed the Eibachs and before I had my rear springs done. My truck has a cap and drawers though, which is a fair amount of weight difference from stock. My Adaptive cruise and lane-keeping were definitely off due to the difference in rake. With the Icons on the rear...
The kinetic rope should be sized to your vehicle. Too many people either buy one big enough for a semi that won't stretch at all or try to use one sized for a Tacoma to pull out their Raptor. The kinetic ropes that I've seen break have either been used (abused) past their service life or are...
I had the Gobi on my Gen-1. I liked the rack but hated the weight and wind noise. My biggest complaint was the fuel economy. Just putting the shovel and jack mounts up there dropped about 1.5 mpg. This might be nitpicky, but I wanted the rack to carry stuff on longer trips and having shitty gas...
I pulled and reinstalled the shocks myself, and had a local shop do the spring swap for me. They charged me $37 to compress the springs and swap them out. I try not to take dumb chances with potential energy. Doing the perch mod on my Gen-1 wasn't bad with threaded spring compressors because...
I have the Swarfworks hidden mount and Cobb Stage 2. If you want to maintain the stock look it seems to be the best option based on everything I have seen. I did contemplate grabbing a different winch compatible front bumper, but everything that appealed to me still required the IC relocation...
