Excellent. On their tip page, they recommend upping tire pressure by 10 PSI to maintain bead. I was thinking the opposite, running closer to 30 PSI. What are your thoughts on that?
Turns out this has been nixed by the Mrs., for now. But not for the reason you'd expect. We live in a extreme Covid hotspot right now and she's afraid I'll come home sick and kill her parents or something. So, I guess this will have to wait until Spring '21. Definitely doing the first event that...
They mentioned that if track width is more than 3" narrower than overall height the vehicle would not be allowed. I'm at 4.5", but the official I spoke with says a Raptor will be fine, and allowed. If I decide to enter I may just take it easy the first time, just to be safe.
Let me start off by saying there are close to zero proper Raptor style off roading opportunities here in North East Iowa. SCCA is holding a Rallycross in a couple weeks and I'm considering entering, just so I can finally have some off road fun. I realize the Rap isn't the ideal rallycrosser, but...
Maybe I'll just hang on to them for a while, since they don't appear to be available anywhere that I can find. They don't even show up on fordpartscatalog.
I have the OEM, unused SVT floor mats from my '14 G1 sitting in a bag eating up space in my garage. I need to sell them but can't find any comps for sale online to base my price off of. What should I try to get out of them?
Went in for a fresh trans tune on Monday, TOTALLY fixed the issues I've been having. Smooth downshifts on decel and clean drive engagement. No more clunks and jerks.
Mine's going to the dealer on Monday for the same issue. But what I'm more concerned with is the 5-3 downshift on deceleration. Doesn't matter if the truck is warmed up or not, that shift can be quite harsh.
I was averaging around 16 when I purchased around August. When winter really hit and got cold my mileage also took a major shit. My guess is that you'll start to see it recover when all the winter gas is used up.
Pierce,
Assuming you already own a Raptor, following your logic, I'd be inclined to wish for the Ranger Raptor to show up here. If F150 Raptor MSRP rises to make room for the Ranger, we'd likely see a plus side to our residuals.
Apparently, pierceography doesn't understand that a dealer still makes money on an "invoice" deal. "Invoice" is NOT what the dealer pays for the vehicle.
I sign tomorrow on a loaded up '18. It would be tonight but I'm waiting on the bed liner to be sprayed. With an MSRP over $71K I'm trading out of my 2014 SE for $22K and change plus TTL. I'm not sure if they're going to show a discount from MSRP on the paperwork, or whether they're really going...
