If it's turned to full sensitivity, it is too sensitive in my book. A hard weather burst, extreme exhausts, and other similar things will set it off. It would go off on my about once every week or two. On the cool side, the notifications are forwarded to my phone through the Ford Pass App.

The pictures posted on page 3 of this thread show the venting. Not sure if there is more than 1 company selling these or if their quality control is just lacking.
I also noticed the postings seem to be gone on eBay, so not sure if they were just leftover from the F-22 Raptor, or if they plan...
The ones currently available are plain and don't have any logos. I believe they are from the same company as the other F-22 Raptor parts (e.g. hood, vents, and fenders).
Given the extra 2 letters in "RAPTOR", not sure how much it will thin out the text vertically for aesthetics. It could be...
I Prefer the Intro-Tech Ultimate Window Shade (P/N: FD-902A-R if you have the tech package w/bigger rearview bracket)
I've used these on multiple cars and they make them a perfect custom fit. They are much more durable than the other offerings and stay in place better. They are also...
Am I understanding correctly that the CF side vents are not functional (i.e. no actual vents)?
Maybe it's just the angle, but it also looks like it isn't quite sitting flush and I can see the mounting slots on the right side. I don't think I can see those with my OEM ones on.
It all comes down to preference. Most are likely fine with the PUTCO alone, and some just want more for a variety of reasons. Using switches is certainly an option, especially if you ever want to run them when not in reverse.
Personally, I love the way the S2's mount to the existing bolt...
My understanding was that those Baja bars will not fit in the small slot between the bumper and tailgate like the PUTCO. But are still very cool if you want to mount them on the bumper, rear of the cab, roll bars, etc.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
I keep wondering why you have the issue with the CURT harness and I don't...
Knowing that the trailer detection works off the power draw, the most likely source is the red wire from the PUTCO that you have to cut and tap per the instructions. If it wasn't cut or wired from the correct side...
Nope...I've never seen any messages for detecting the trailer with the method I used; and, I verified that it detects properly when I do actually connect a trailer.
I can only assume you did something differently.
You certainly have to follow all the directions from PUTCO, which include cutting the red wire on their harness and adding the power tap under the dash.
The harness I mention is only an alternative to wiring to the tail light or other sources in a clean way.
I have a fully loaded 802A and...
I posted about the PUTCO light bar in a few other threads, but here is the info again:
I installed the Putco Switchblade 60" light bar. Make sure you get the 92009-60 if you have the BLISS pro-trailer option.
I don't like tapping into the factory harness if I can help it, so I also got a...
Yeah...it's more like the little dish pic above after a couple thousand. Honestly, I think most are fine without it at that amount. However, I'd rather have a cleaner engine and the slight peace of mind anyway.
It's a painted piece, so it should not crack or fade as long as you take care of it like any other body panel. The fenders, hood, and wheel flairs are painted composite as well.
I noticed from your other thread that this was from a focus ST. Still boosted, but a different engine.
I have the UPR catch can installed, but it looks like the Raptor 3.5 may be producing slightly less.
The brighter colors always hide best. I agree silver hides very well, since my last vehicle was silver. However, I have the lightning blue and it's great as well. Im also fanatical, but put on 2 coats is cquarts and it's always spotless.

Please follow up with the results of your install and pics. I'm a carbon fiber junky as well, but have ran into variable fitment from "OEM fit" kits in the past. I'm pretty picky about things not sitting perfectly flush or flat, and get a little aggravated when I need to mod for fitment.
Completely understandable. I would always recommend removing the tube as the first and safest option. I'm just not sure if you can get it back on without removing the wheel well or not for adequate leverage. Getting to the band clamp around the turbo was easy enough, and it seems like...
The standard install per the instructions mounts it to the body near the driver side headlight. Fits nice with plenty of room and access to the drain.
I was going to remove the intake tube; but, after loosening the band clamp on the turbo through the wheel well, I changed my mind and decided...
No problem...glad that worked out well!
I just happened to have some stuff around for a spacer, but I really hope Putco makes something official to help people out. Although not rocket science, asking customers to engineer a solution and procure the extra parts is asking a bit too much for...
