I treat the stickers as kind of a “PPF” for the side of the bed. They don’t bother me. Mine came without the hood stickers from the factory (guess there was a shortage at the end of the ‘22 build cycle?), which is kind of a unique look. It looks good either way, congrats!!
Hey guys! Thanks for all of the well wishes and input! I think I’ll point it out, but not make a huge deal out of it, it seems pretty common, we will see how it wears over time.
This is seen in the standard black leather seats, not sure about the recaros as they have more alcantera and...
Thanks for the input guys. Yeah…I definitely don’t think I’m alone on the loose leather, hence the “am I being too particular.” I’m gonna watch it, it may tighten up as it warms up. Totally agree with Nex, these are small things and it will be covered under warranty. Time to start enjoying...
Hey guys! After 10 long months I finally received my ‘22 Rapid Red 37 pp. it was a custom order and is just the way I want it! There were some hiccups, to be sure, but ultimately I’m pretty happy with the truck.
I have noticed that the leather in the Gen 3’s can be best described as “loose...
Hey guys! So after 10 months, my RR ‘22 37 has arrived at the dealership! The salesman sent some pics, and I already noticed that while it has the side graphics, it does not have the hood graphics, which I actually thought looked pretty cool. This was not a graphics delete. Does anyone know...
Update:
The tracker AND Ford Marketing both acknowledge that the truck is finally built! The Tracker says “In Transit,” but alas, it still sits in Melvindale, MI, right next to the plant on infamous “Ramp 58.”
ETA to dealership is Jan 29-Feb 5. Not holding my breath, but it seems that we...
Update:
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!
12/19 came and went. Still on chip hold in Dearborn. No one knows what or why, but with all the MY 23’s showing up at dealerships, I think it has to be tied to the heated steering wheel, it’s the only thing my truck has that the new...
Call Ford Marketing, they have the best, most up-to-date information, which is updated 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have resolved to calling on Friday mornings and forgetting about it otherwise.
Ford Marketing phone number is 1 (800) 334-4375. Hit #1 at the prompt and ask...
Been waiting on my ‘22 to be finished for almost 3 months now. Guess what we’re waiting on?
The heated steering wheel!
Supposed to be installed on Monday - here’s to hoping!
For the record, that Iconic 37 looks badass, I would switch to that color scheme in a heartbeat if I had the...
Update! I have resolved to calling Ford Marketing each Friday for a status update, as they are the best source of information that I have been able to find. They update their info every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
As of today, my Truck shows as being built 10/5/22, remaining “in...
Thanks for the number! That was the most information that I’ve had yet!! Ford Marketing is the best resource for info, they can see exactly where the truck is.
I’m guessing my truck failed some QC testing. It went from built / awaiting shipment back to “in production.” Currently on ramp...
Fordie - where did you find the Ford marketing number? I would like some sort of real info, if it’s possible, on my Truck. Ford tracker says it remains “in production” still with a Built date of 11/22. Ford Performance says it’s “on plant hold” with no reason or time frame. An email I...
Ok guys, here’s the update - no surprise here…
Ford Performance tech line looked into the process, even though I received the automated email saying “congratulations, your Truck is built” with an estimated shipping date between Dec 5-Dec 10, it is still showing “Plant Hold” on their end….no...
Awesome!!!! Congratulations!!
I’m going to reach out to FP today to see if they have any idea on shipping time. I’ll let you guys know. Hopefully/maybe Christmas trucks?!?
Do you have some sort of Road Hazard Warranty? I would be inclined to have it replaced. You certainly don’t want it to become an issue at highway speeds or while you’re in the middle of nowhere. I believe they are about $370-$400 per tire, but well worth it.
As long as you aren’t doing...
