The dodge demon laughs in the face of that logic, you're confused about the way those EPA regulations apply, it's been explained in detail multiple times around here because that silly argument keeps coming up.
It doesn't have to meet EPA targets it's a specialty vehicle and doesn't make up a high enough percentage of fca sales. Car and driver says it's confirmed and happening, I think I'll take their word over yours.
There are a lot of variables on sand, sorry that you don't like the way that race panned out but it is what it is.

That's not a roush truck.
They already are, no gen 2 placed at raptor x.

Roush won't be much better from what I understand, from what I hear their work with the other ecoboosts hasn't been very...
It's confirmed that the gen 1 is not making full boost, also this race was more about traction and there are just too many variables to make any sort of conclusion here.
Hey you finally said something that doesn't make me cringe, more posts like this please.
But honestly, those that have been here longer and have helped make this place what it is do have well deserved entitlement, new people don't need to show up here and assume they can change this place to...
I love how dipshits complain about how shitty this forum is lol. No one is making you stay here, you're welcome to be here, but why would you want to if it bothers you so much?
Thanks for the write up, there really isn't enough info out there on these kits for most people to make educated decisions, nice to have as much first hand experience as possible.

Thanks, it's been a fun time, I really only have a few mods left before I'm done unless I go crazy and link it some day. Supercharging is likely one of them so I can keep up with the new guys.

Like I said, I'm not trying to convince anyone, just passing along what I've heard. I'm not in the market for a gen 2 or another raptor for that matter regardless of what motor it's got in it. I just like to watch the show.
I'm not the expert here, I just overhear things. Maybe it's because there is a demand for an FI V8 but that would increase the price beyond what they think they can sell so they offer an na V8 and let the consumer do what they will. Who's to say, I just have faith in the few different...
I'm just telling you the rumoring from some people that work closely with ford, I'm not going to argue it or try to prove it, not really worth my time or effort.
I've heard the possibility of a mid year 18 release, much like when the 6.2 was offered. You aren't going to find it posted anywhere, or not that I know of, It's just words from people in the industry, so I don't expect anyone that doesn't want to believe to do so.
Actually there is a ton of insider info about talks of using an lower power n/a v8 in the raptor to lower the entry level price point and widen the market. If it's something like a coyote motor, especially with the new DI that they'll be using then the mod potential would be huge and I think...
