A couple of my own observations on this. I have a 23 37PP and I'm coming from a 18 Gen 2. For gas mileage I seem to be losing about .5 to .8 MPG. I got between 16.8 to 17 in my gen 2. I get 16.2 to 16.5 in my gen 3. The difference between my truck and yours could be anything from driving...
My last five trucks have been white including my 2014 and 2018 raptors. I wanted to find an Oxford White or Avalanche Grey but I found a Azure Gray instead. I really like it. Something Different.
Higher credit prices (interest rates) typically lead to lower commodity (item purchased) prices. Talk to the dealer about your concerns and see if you can save a couple of bucks.
I've had problems with Phil long in Denver when had an F350 that I bought from them. I don't know about raptors. I rotate about 2 weeks in Denver and then in Spearfish, SD. I've had great experiences with Scott Peterson Ford in Belle Fourche, SD. Both sales and service on Raptors. I bought...
Ok. Down the rabbit hole we go. I'm looking at possible lighting upgrades. I'm thinking about mounting 4 LP6's or possibly 2 LP6's and 2 LP9's on the front bumper. I want to space them out enough so the lights don't interfere with the camera. I've looked at the front light bars available...
This is where I got my initial impressions as well. It would make since following the principles of "economy of scale" however, it isn't unheard of to be screwed by an accounting ledger.
I'm under the impression the front shocks are the same as the 37PP and the springs are just a little stiffer. Some one listed 5%. The ride height is the same and the V8 isn't that much heavier.
The liners were easy enough to put in. The fit is pretty tight so I don't think that a lot of crap will get behind them. They look ok, better than the half paint and primer factory finish.
You might want to try Plasti-Dip spray. Wipe the trim ring clean then use several coats. They make several colors so pick something close to what you want. If you decide you don't like it use the release agent and peel it off. No problem. If you like it go see your powdercoater. You can...
I wasn't planning on buying the Gen 3. My '18 was stolen so I started looking. The interior, transmission changes, rear suspension and improved power curve are great. For me the electronics are a little "over the top". I think it's worth the move.
@turningblue At home around 10:30 pm January 13th. Never heard or saw them. The cops say they were probably gone in 60 to 90 seconds. Most likely used a re-flashed key. Ford Pass locater GPS and separate hard wired GPS. No trace of it, probably in Old Mexico now.
Remember to shoot early...
