My Wife just puked in my Raptor

Team, looking for some advice here. My wife just puked in my less than 6 week old Raptor. No joke. I don’t know how to handle this. I’m at a loss for words. I took her to the western part of VA for her birthday...did a bunch of taste testings at some wineries...ended up with Linden Vineyards...

    Attenion:Raptor Police

Is the title of this post intentionally misspelled because lacking in intellect is cool nowadays or is it just laziness?

Can tailgate step be added after purchase?

Agreed on not compromising on the step. It’s one of those features I was skeptical about holding out for, but am so glad that I did. I use it a lot more than I ever thought I would. Like ACC, I’ll never buy a Ford truck again without it.

Claims of Raptor Being Too Wide

Just realized I never answered the original post question. I live in the DC area and have zero issues with it as a daily. I don’t do parking garages under 6’8”, which hasn’t been an issue yet. I haven’t noticed anything different in everyday driving from a normal full-sized pickup truck. It...

Claims of Raptor Being Too Wide

I had a 2019 TRD Pro for 11 months before getting a Raptor. It’s not even a comparison. I would say the same thing on the Tacoma World forum. No offense to anyone owning a Taco, they have their place, but it was an awful 11 months for me. Lost a filling on every pothole I hit...

2020 raptor order / new pricing

Just remember that price does not include freight ($1695) or their dealer fee of $800. So it’s closer to $6225 off MSRP. Still a good deal though.

Extend Warranty or Warranty In General.

I went 8/100k extended w/$100 deductible. Paid $1502. For me, it was worth the peace of mind for another 5 years of warranty. Standard dealer tactics...pulled me into the back room, I told them I was only interested in an extended warranty, and they quoted me at something close to $3k for the...

Looking to buy a 2019 east coast pricing

Ourisman Ford in Alexandria VA sold me mine for 10% off MSRP. They threw back in their insane $800 dealer fee and Destination Fee of $1695, so it was closer to 7-7.5% off. They did, however, give me top dollar for my trade, so I pulled the trigger.

    MPT or ORA550

Anyone have any experience running the MPT PRX tunes and new ORA550 package (w/tune) back to back? I realize it’s unlikely, but thought it would be worth a shot to the crowd. I really like the fact that the ORA550 package is adaptive to any octane, but not sure I can justify the extra $2k...

2018 or 2019? Live valve shocks worth it?

$9000 and I would have absolutely swung for the 18 I test drove. My difference between the two I was looking at (18 vs 19) got down to below $4000 when accounting for the trade difference between the two dealerships and the 18 didn’t have the beadlocks that I wanted, so I had to account for...

    2019 Pricing

Sorry. Off MSRP. Paid $67,000 OTD (minus taxes. I didn’t pay any cuz of a military clause being a FL resident and stationed out of state) for an MSRP of $72,260.

    2019 Pricing

I ended up getting 7.5% off of my 2019 after factoring in the Dealer Fee of $800. 8.3% if you don’t factor in the Dealer Fee.

2018 or 2019? Live valve shocks worth it?

I drove both back to back a few weeks ago when I was in the same boat looking at lightly used 18s vs new 19s. I went with the 19. Although there wasn’t a ton of difference, I noticed less body roll around corners and a more planted suspension overall. I also tow occasionally and I’ve read that...

2019 depreciation vs lower trim level F-150

I was in the exact same boat a week or so ago. Like GCATX, I’m always getting the itch after a year or so of buying something. It’s a problem...I know. I bought a 2017 King Ranch in late 2016. Ironically, had an order on a Raptor but the dealer slowed played the order to the point where I had...

Diamondback SE or Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite

Anyone have any experience with either? Particularly the G4. Diamondbacks seems to have a great reputation. My only complaint against them is an inability to haul big items without removing the entire thing since the center piece stays in. The G4 Elite seems to solve this, but I can't get a...

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

Just bought a 19. Wow that escalated fast. I went from looking at a used 17 w/22k miles to a new one within a week. Bottom line for me was that the dealer with the 18 was giving me $3000 less on my trade than the dealer with the new 19. That knocked the difference down from the used 18 to the...

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

I did. The 18 had the metal pan. Smurfslayer, thanks for all the help! Your thoughts are legit and very helpful. Im going to take a tactical pause for a night or so...I’m in no rush.

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

Test drove the 2018 and then a 2019 as well. The difference in price with my trade between the 2 is about $5500. They are identically equipped with exception that the 2019 has the Beadlocks, a foldable bed extender and Carbon fiber interior that the 2018 doesn’t have. The 2018 has the exterior...

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

After some more thought and taking into consideration the opinions here, I’m gonna eliminate the 2017 Black one. The dealership with the 2,900 mile 2018 Blue just dropped the price online and they have a 2019 Performance Blue one as well that’s similarly equipped, minus the tailgate step and...

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

Both have tech package, moonroof and tailgate step. Black has carbon fiber too but I couldn’t care less about that...so identically equipped minus the wheels and tonneau.

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

In northern VA/DC area. I didn’t look at 2019s because an identical build to the 2018 runs $72,935 msrp, so $67,000 even with a decent discount. I’m not sure how I could justify and extra $7k on top of a 2018 for the same truck with the new suspension. Somebody help me understand what I’m missing!

Help me decide: 2017 or 2018

First-timer here. Looking to get opinions on two different Raptors I’m looking at... 1) 2017 with 23.5k miles. Black. 802A w/beadlock wheels and tonneau cover. Private seller asking $56,900 but I’m pretty sure they would take $55,000 after talking with them a bit. 2) 2018 with 2.9k miles...

    Trade Value?

How are you guys getting trade numbers before delivery? My local dealer refuses to give me a trade value on my current truck until the Raptor would come in. He wants me to order they Raptor and then said we can work the trade-in value in 3-4 months when Raptor is delivered. Says value will...

To Buy Or Not To Buy

This is one of the best quotes I've read in my life. I had guys at my work laughing pretty hard. Thanks a ton for all the insight from folks. Gonna sleep on it and make the call tomorrow.
