I work in the International Space Station (ISS) Program dealing with all the visiting vehicles (spacecraft) that bring cargo and crew to the ISS. Some of these visiting vehicle spacecrafts are from SpaceX (the Dragon), from Northrop Grumman (the Cygnus), and Siera Nevada (the DreamChaser)...
My 2019 had 15 miles on it when I took delivery and I drove it for 3 of them for the test drive. My commute is only 12 miles round trip each day to work. I also have a 2003 F150 that I use to take to the airport parking lots and for hauling things around. So after 7+ months I'm standing at...
Thank you very much for your service to the community and protecting us all!! You guys in blue have a thankless job! As an aside, LEO threw me for a loop for a few seconds there. LEO in my vernacular means Low Earth Orbit. Couldn't for the life of me understand why you were in low Earth...
Time to move south!! Had to wear pants today, only got up to 58 F............ We get the floods and you guys get the snow and cold.......... Wait a minute, I'm starting to like your situation!
First ever jump was last November. Great info here for future precautions. I at least knew to take baby steps before I tried anything more substantial. Stock Raptor on this minor jump was incredibly smooth. I wasn't even sure I got air until I saw the video/photo. Main lesson learned was to...
Ahh. Now I understand. Thanks for the reply. I recently installed the S2 reverse lights and ran the harness inside the frame so the wires would be protected from what you're describing. It was a little bit of a PITA, but with patience and a little help from the kids, we got it done. I plan...
Great info for getting into the cab. But if you're items (lights for example) are outside the cab in the bed and you're trying to route the wires to the upfitter wire leads available in the engine compartment, why route the wires into the cab? Seems like it would be easier to stay outside the...
Very interesting. I have a 2019 and my taillight connector is definitely like the photo in the instruction manual and not like this photo you posted. Here is a picture of my connector after I placed the clip onto the correct wire.
I wonder if the difference in connectors is associated with...
Latest update: When we made the connection to the upfitter switch, we accidently snipped the provided connector in half. So we had to cut off the connector from the wire and spliced them together, bare wire to bare wire. After twisting them together, I wanted to apply some solder to get a...
I like the Dennis Miller theory that it's the Prius drivers that are the problem and it's us big truck drivers that are the solution. According to Dennis, we're humans......... We won't get past the hydrocarbon usage until we've used it all and need another alternative. So us driving the...
Black Friday sale. The S2 reverse kit was about $270. As part of the BF promotion, the additional long harness for the upfitter or aux swithces was free. Shipping was free. And BD had a $50 rebate as part of their BF deals. So that should be coming in the maiil in the coming weeks.
Got my BD S2 Sport Reverse Kit installed this weekend! Hooked up to reverse circuit and the upfitter (aux) switches. Works great!!

Oh, I neglected to provide a picture of the finished installation in the daylight. I think they look awesome back there under the bumper. Very subtle look for how bright they are night!!
Yep, the taillight connector is different in my 2019 than what your picture shows. I thought I had remembered mine was 4 wires x 2 rows, but in looking at the picture provided in the instructions, it's actually 3 wires x 2 rows. See pic below, that is what mine looked like.
I seem to recall...
