You’ll have to call Summit. The product isn’t in their normal ordering system yet, but the SKU is available to drop ship. I called to verify. The rep on the express line for people who know what part number they want couldn’t find anything. He transferred me to a “Sales Rep” who said the item...
MTF. The Melling pumps can be ordered through Summit. I believe the drop ship timeframe from Melling was stated as about a week. I believe the pumps are already in production.
Truckzor Yes, the SCT should allow you to log. You can export the results to their desktop app.

Here’s the response from a Technical Services Manager and Master Automotive Technician at Melling:
“The 10397-BR has a 95 PSI bypass spring installed, we include a red spring in the box with the pump that will decrease the bypass pressure by 10 PSI.
The 80 PSI spring is more in...
I’ve been in communication with the VP of North American Aftermarket Sales and the Technical Services Manager at Melling. They’ve been very responsive thus far and actually reached out to Summit Racing on my behalf to expedite adding the part number to their sales inventory. I just sent a note...
You’re right. I should have stated housing and not pump in my last statement. Still, I’d rather have the better housing if I’m having the work done anyway.
Regarding pressure, I’m fairly certain that the shape/size of the gears primarily effects volume. The pressure is managed by what bypass...
MTF. I recall there being a build long back on SVTP forums regarding a carbureted Ford 6.2L swapped into a Fox Body Mustang. Melling does a lot of custom machining and manufacturing as well. I believe they did the EDM cut and machined gears for that build if I remember correctly. Obviously...
Hockster pirate air Happen to know the OEM oil pump bypass pressure for the 6.2L?

MTF I was turned onto the Melling lineup after seeing multiple videos by FordTechMakuLoco on YouTube where he’s replaced...
MTF I may pick up the pump/rotor combo from Melling, but it would probably sit on the parts shelf for a while. Looking at houses, so supercharging will probably have to be put on hold for a bit. Regarding the lower bypass pressure, I think Melling is just providing options. The default...
I’m just glad there’s still enough demand for the 6.2L platform to still develop and release new upgraded part options. Depending on final street pricing, this may give Livernois and TSS a run for their money especially since this is the first option that actually improves the pump and not just...

I eventually plan to supercharge my Raptor. I know one of the recommended supporting mods is billet oil pump gears to replace the weak sintered metal OEM gears. It appears that Melling just released a new High Pressure and Standard Volume oil pump compatible with the Ford 6.2L...
Just use a putty knife to carefully pry around the edges of the cover to break the seal after removing all the bolts except one. Leave the top bolt loosely attached so the cover doesn’t just fall off. Otherwise, it’s just a matter of angling the cover past the steering components since it’s a...
I believe several of the options shown are all actually made by Crown Performance. I installed Crown performance lines on the front and rear of my 2011. Fit was perfect and I’ve had zero problems over the last couple years. The colored jacket may tear at the edges based on flex and embrittlement...
Rogue Racing What’s the tangible difference between the HD tie rods and the double-shear tie rods other than application? Is the design functionally different between the two? I was under the impression that any heim type tie rods could be used in a double shear configuration with the...
metronyc I’m subbed to this. It’s definitely my desire to add a blower at some point after I finish with the suspension. Will subsequent Whipple kits simply default to the gen 3 components or will the gen 3 still be an additional upgrade option when purchasing the full kit? Thanks for being the...
I had a slow leak on my 2011 when new where the driveshaft exits the transfer case. They replaced the transfer case rear seal and I haven't had any issues since. Hopefully your case is similarly easy to fix.
Raptors4ever I had the stock exhaust cut off just after to axle in sort of a turndown orientation before I got the MBRP. It had a bit more rumble from the ground echo, but not even close to the MBRP or any smaller straight through muffler.
Truckzor Thought of getting a Helmholtz resonator and switching to a lightning style exit? I feel that a lot of the issue is simply sound waves bouncing off the ground towards the bed and cab. An appropriate resonator would also shift the drone RPM range out of your preferred driving range. I...
I chose MBRP in your poll. Although, I technically have the MBRP turndown WITH resonator. I love it. There's some drone at certain speeds, but pretty tame at light throttle and can still hold a conversation at highway speeds (75-85 mph). Sounds like a trophy truck at WOT. Super easy install and...
