Thanks for being the first to give it a shot and reporting your results. Looks awesome and I see some 37s in my future when it is time for tires. Did you remove the rings yourself before having the tire shop switch the tires?
It shouldn’t be that drastic between a single model year. For reference I pay $100/month for my 2021 Raptor and have 500k/500k liability limits, $250 comp deductible and $1000 collision, glass coverage and am 39 years old.
I tried but someone has to be in the vehicle to accept the activation request by pushing a button on the screen. That’s how I knew mine was getting delivered. The day they moved it the last 20 miles from the rail yard/storage lot to the dealer I got a notification in the app that the request...
I drove by the lot as well! Didn’t see it but you can see 2 sides of the lot real well from the road. I’ll bet yours moves up quite a bit now that it’s in Wentzville. My truck got to the dealer on 9/15 and the tracker said 9/22-9/27.
Here’s the response I got from Husky today about flaps. Looks like they are also making a wheel well liner for the Raptor:
“We are expecting the mudguards to be available with in 6-8 weeks. We are currently working on the wheel well liners for the Raptor as well. Thank you for your interest in...
I was poking around the truck today and saw 2 clear plastic covers in the engine bay. One was on top of the steering rack where the column comes down. It looks like it was a cover for a wire harness in manufacturing or something. The other one was similar but smaller and I couldn’t reach it...
I get some sounds that feel like it’s in the firewall or front suspension on slightly bumpy roads but like you, big bumps don’t make any noise. I tried rocking the heck out of the truck and bouncing in the bed but can’t make that noise.
I don’t think so. It’s got adhesive on the other side and maybe it either wasn’t pressed on very well or it needs something more to hold it tight. I’ll keep an eye on it now.
My heat shield/insulator over the trombone had fallen down and was resting on the exhaust. I saw something similar in another forum on the 21 F150s and sure enough mine was hanging down. I pressed it back up there but it’ll probably fall back down.
Yeah I read that article about Blue Cruise and it says hands free where I get the hands on the wheel graphic on the left side. The adaptive cruise with lane centering will do a pretty good job navigating the curves, even hands free if you hang a small weight on the side of the steering wheel.
I’m not sure that’s Blue Cruise. I get the same thing with lane centering and speed limit sign recognition on mine and haven’t signed up or paid for Blue Cruise.
Congrats! Still haven’t seen a Code Orange in the wild. Did your tech remove the plastic on the front shocks? Found this when I looked under mine. I’m not sure what PDI consists of because my tires were at 52 psi too.
All the fuses in my fuse box under the hood were not seated fully. The fuses behind the passenger kick panel were all fine.
Likely unrelated to the fuses but has anyone else had their gauge view always revert back to the trans temp? I change mine to show intake air temp and boost and when I...
It was in the supplement in the owners manual booklets. They included some of the stickers for trailers as well as a harness that you can mount to a trailer and plug into the truck.
Wish I would’ve kept my Bakflip to try but saw something online that it wouldn’t fit so I sold it with the truck. There’s a different part number for the Bak MX4 on 2021+ but I’d like to see them side by side.
They seem to be the same lamp as the outers. The covers are for DOT compliance limiting the number of driving lights. I haven't looked closely yet to see if they can be adjusted but they both seem a bit low and light up right in front of the truck. I'd like to adjust the outers to use when on...
