Having lived in Colorado and Utah and running snow tires on my wife's car its hard to explain just how crazy the difference is in an all season/all terrain and a dedicated winter tire. We were both blown away at the all around increase in grip in every scenario you'd find yourself in with a car...
AJT got his start with the Toyota 4x4 community and has really branched out with his offerings. I've had a few of his cases through the years and always enjoyed them. My last one was the cement gray color that looked great and i liked the slimmer but more industrial look.
Thanks for sharing.
The louvers have and always will be about MPGs, especially the ones in front of the radiator. Non boosted trucks still get radiator louvers for the incremental MPG increase ford can claim while pumping out thousands of these trucks a month.
You dont have to reply back with "It's complicated" ...
I'm waiting on my revalves from SDI meanwhile the eClik is sitting on my living room floor. I'm considering taking off the front sway bar with the SDI setup since it can counter body roll so effectively. Then in the dirt (trail or baja mode) the front can actually operate independently but on...
I remember that allen bolt being insanely tight also, you wont be reusing it so you could always run a sawzall or grinder in there and cut the bolt. Or, take a grinder and cut off both sides just above the rubber sleeve.
Good luck!
This looks similar but beefier to the often broken JDS mounts. The only problem i see it that it only works for the small wheeled jacks. Most everyone is going to the big wheel versions now.
Dang man, sorry you've run into a problem. Which harness did you order to go with it? I saw GJ post (possibly on FB) that they were using taps somewhere in the kit because a certain harness was unobtainium at the moment. Keith at LVJ Motorsports may be your best best for getting sorted quickly...
Mailed off some LV shocks to SDI for revalve and rebuild. I'll build them back up with stock coils and the new SDI tophats along with adding eClik to my 18 once everything is shipped back. Thanks to @Rick@FMS for the great customer service up to this point, it all started with a conversation at...
The regular Raptor Gen2/3 COs are pretty much the same, supposedly .1 difference in OD and I've seen where fox/ford simplified the piston design with two larger flow holes instead of four smaller ones.
The 37PP COs are more different with the shaft being upsized to a full 1" in diameter and...
I think the confusion is that there is an older option for a 3" geiser that is just way too much spring for any of these trucks, so they released the 2.5" about a year ago with much better results.
With minimal weight difference between gen2 and 3 trucks (some places listing them within 20lbs)...
