G3 Specific Geiser Springs?

Firmer than stock but happy with them. I reset the height after install and that made them feel better. Just wondering if I got the right springs hah (or if I got the Gen2 3" spring)
You got the correct 2.5” Gen 2/3 spring. The 3” spring is stamped Geiser-20.5 instead of Geiser-20.

Welp looks like the “g3” spring is really just the old g2/g3 spring. Here’s my set EC4E79BE-3419-499A-9678-8152B1DC0420.jpeg

Seems like @NateMob 's hypothesis was on-point.

I also reached out to Geiser about this and they responded with:

"Yes it is true the springs are the same, GEN2 and GEN3 shocks are the same.

We told our dealers they could sell their GEN2 springs for the GEN3 if they wanted to get ahead of the game so those will have the same numbers printed on them. We rebranded our new shipment to say GEISER +2.5” as a universal spring for either truck.

Sorry for any confusion or "ruffled feathers”

Is it true that Gen2 and Gen3 shocks are the same?

There is very little weight difference on the 2 trucks correct? So i doubt any spring rate changes were made up front. As for the “3.1 live valve” shocks, the water was a but murky on what they changed. Is it .1 in diameter? Thats basically nothing. However, me thinks the 37” tire package has to have a touch of spring rate and some extra valving to account/ tune for the 25-30 extra lbs of unsprung. Id bet the 35 and 37 spring are diff.

The regular Raptor Gen2/3 COs are pretty much the same, supposedly .1 difference in OD and I've seen where fox/ford simplified the piston design with two larger flow holes instead of four smaller ones.

The 37PP COs are more different with the shaft being upsized to a full 1" in diameter and altered valving to help manage the heavier wheel and tire combo. The appx 250lb heavier R gets a heavier spring rate, I dont think the 37PP trucks do since any extra weight is unsprung and would be unaffected by a heavier rate.

Now I'm curious how Tyler with Hammer Motorsports can make those statements when Geiser said it is the same spring. Different my a**. "Designed to give significant improvement in ride quality on the street and bottom out control". What a joke. Stuff like this just baffles me as to why you would openly lie to people for no reason. I guess its all about selling something for a buck. Damn shame.

new guy here but have been following this thread. Got the geiser 2.5" spring set recently and thought i'd validate the updating serial #s.

At least they've now made it where the naming scheme makes sense! Truck looks great by the way.
