Looking for Opinions on Modified Raptor Value

Probably summarizing what has been said, but I think “dealer” wouldn’t be an option due to “frame damage” and the alignment off the uppers. I think almost anyone who would find the truck for sale would probably say it has been modified and there has to be worth less. My opinion on method of...

    Economical Mid-Travel Kits?

And if you add in the cost of the coilovers it will/would be around 16k. I was just pointing out that the shocks cost what they cost, the rest of the components are pretty similar in cost from various manufacturers, plus or minus.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Yea that happens from time to time it seems. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to fab one up on your own. If that is the route you wanna go

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Stock width and coilovers tend to tolerate no sway bar pretty well

    Economical Mid-Travel Kits?

For what it is worth, when you compare most of the more popular kits, you’ll find they end up costing about the same.

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

Supposedly the gen 1’s parts play a little nicer than the ecoboost stuff too. Some of which I learned in that Facebook “article” or post or whatever, from above.

Houston, we are GO FOR LAUNCH!

Depends on what you mean by over drive. I frequently use all of my suspension, but I’m not sure I would put myself in, realistically even near, the top half dozen on this forum Good advice on just get the truck and drive it, then decide after a good amount of outings if you want/need more

What did u do to your raptor today?

Looking immediately. I tightened up the adjustment again, have a noticeable but not stupid reduction in return to center. Also have all uniballs so that is to be expected. Thanks for the heads up

GEN 2 Has anyone Coyote swapped a Gen 2?

Interesting kit for sure. Frame swap is an interesting idea. Clever with moving the 26 gallon tank after axle.

    Considering going widebody

Here are some photos to illustrate what @mattl600 is discussing. Mine is a gen 1 so it is a little different but +2 fenders trimmed slightly with a +2 mid travel kit and 0 offsets. Mine are pretty flush with the edge. Rear is a +2.5, no spacers, stock diff. I don’t necessarily think the truck...

    Considering going widebody

I’m not really sure where the term “wide body” came from it is usually just people doing fenders and bedsides. That is also what you are likely referring to. That is also excluding a one piece front end. I am running a Blitzkrieg front, so my control arms are plus 2” I am running a plus 2”...

What did u do to your raptor today?

I know a few people who have good experiences with Detroit on the electric racks, no comment on the warranty aspect. I agree at some point I would get irritated having to constantly swap racks. I would love an intermediate option between swing set and stock. Foutz told me $3,000 seemed to big...

What did u do to your raptor today?

I’m considering a couple alternatives. Detroit axle: claims lifetime warranty and is about $330, has same part number as cardone. Core charge is effectively the lifetime warranty. Also considering advantage steering. ~$1350 but with $500 core. Reman in the US. I called foutz, they scrapped...
