    Trade in value drop

That makes sense. At that level, you probably won't need to go below MSRP often, and won't have year end clearances to get vehicles off the lot.

    Trade in value drop

It's surprising only in the sense that Ford was stating that we were never going to return to the days where dealerships had a lot full of inventory. Things would be a lot more like the Tesla model where prices were set at MSRP and you would special order everything, even when there are no...

    NY Plate ideas

Perhaps it's regional, but I suspect most people will assume it's a pirate thing. Arrrr.

    NY Plate ideas

Just make sure the plate clearly states what model truck it is. Otherwise, how will people know?

    Trade in value drop

I feel like the Gen 2 is going to appeal to those who would have otherwise gotten a new Lariat, or those that are more interested in off road over luxury, tech, or anything else. I have a hard time seeing people that had their heart set on a Gen 3 just settling, particularly since Gen 3 prices...

    ‘24/‘25 Raptor Refresh

Agreed. But that does not mean you can't have an AC dial along with the screen interface for AC...which is exactly what you have now. This assumes that the seat hardware is capable of 3 or 10 settings, which I doubt. However, you could still make the change and allow for 1-10 levels of heat...

    ‘24/‘25 Raptor Refresh

So I like big things and I like to push buttons, so I'm somewhere in the middle on this debate . I don't think that's entirely true. Look at temperature settings for example, it's all software whether you turn the knob or press virtual buttons on the screen. Same result, and they work...

    Why so many for sale?

1,2 and 4 are essentially the same thing. There is a significant number of folks out there that are happy to drive something for 6 months then trade it in for something new as the loss isn't a big concern for them. With the Raptor they may even break even or get a little profit. And this is...

GEN 2 Tesla Style Android Radios - 14.5 inch Screens, Octacore, QHD and FHD and 128GB

Does the au I don't like that you're reusing the OEM AC board rather than giving you a new one. That was a pain with the PX6 installation, as buttons and knobs have to line up just right. I believe the new phoenix radio had it's own board. Then again, I have no idea how well the new board...

GEN 2 Tesla Style Android Radios - 14.5 inch Screens, Octacore, QHD and FHD and 128GB

This obviously wouldn't apply to everyone, but I had a new audio system put in, so the center channel speaker was dead. I removed it and then used that space for the mic. completely hidden by the center speaker grille. Works just fine with the PX6 mic. Even if you still use the center...

Cupholder lights and USB port lights out

Sounds like the lights got turned off in the settings. I have a 2017, so it might be different for you, but in the infotainment screen, you should be able have an icon for the interior illumination. In mine, you can actually change the color, but I don't think you can in 2020.

GEN 2 Tesla Style Android Radios - 14.5 inch Screens, Octacore, QHD and FHD and 128GB

One other thing to look out for is the screen itself. Most tablets don't handle glare well and glare is particularly bad on an infotainment screen. I've also noticed that the PX6 is pretty much black out when viewed through sunglasses. I believe this has to do with polarity. You can get...

GEN 2 Tesla Style Android Radios - 14.5 inch Screens, Octacore, QHD and FHD and 128GB

I've had the Pheonix 12 incher for a couple years now. I am happy with it, but here's some things I would look for. - bootup time is crucial. Mine can some times take a minute to load, which is no big deal on long trips, but makes it useless for 2 minute drives. - related to the above, you...

Question For Guys with Tinted Windshields?

I haven't really noticed any issues with my headlights or dimming of dash lights, but maybe it's something you don't notice if you aren't looking for it. But I have a clear ceramic tint, which is supposed to block infrared and UV rays to reduce heat, but not visible light. So I wouldn't expect...

A pressure washer might be useful to, if it can get where the stick and and air hose cannot. Yes, it's electronics, but it should be fine.
