    my '17 Gen2 sunroof broke, they replaced the tracks under the ESP. Only cost me the $100 deductible which was great.

    Hole inside tailgate?

    When the tailgate is down and bed extender is installed, the bed extender has a locking rod that goes in that hole you are referring too. That secures the bed extender into the rear tailgate when in use.
