You think Ford would cover a vehicle used outside normal use?
I don't think Ford would cover it...
I've seen Jeep revoke warranty due to hydrolock and or water found in the driveline.
What people don't take into consideration is the driveline... sure worry about ingesting water through the intake, but the transmission and rear axle are not water tight... water gets in through breather tubes, sometimes axle seals, and engine PVC connections...a factory vehicle is not prepared...
Why?
It's like Jeep owners when they see water...immediately dive...errr drive right in...many hydro lock. If I wanted to be in the water, I'd buy a jet ski.
I tried that module thing and got an endless list of modules. But tracker shows in production (3/11/2022); blend date was 3/9/2022; ordered 10/12/2021.
FRPP told me my truck is in the mod shop... I'm assuming for the spray in bedliner.
No other details...
In my opinion, auto manufacturers should not be building vehicles that don't have a complete BOM (build of materials / parts list).
If it's missing one washer or ziptie, they should not be building the vehicle.
Obviously we know this will never happen... we build airplanes with missing parts...
I didn't want to do it.... but I IMed FRPP.
Current status is that it's in the mod shop.
Must be for the spray in bedliner...
That means the truck must be built with exception of the added spray in bedliner?
Unless it's going on a chip hold...
Now what does dealer will install missing chips?
I think this is an inaccurate description.
The vehicles will have missing control modules, etc.
It's not like the dealer will install a RAM like chip into your truck and it magically comes to life.
There is actual missing hardware!!
I agree...

Looking at my window sticker, at the fuel economy section, it says standard pickups range from 12 to 70 MPG.
What truck does anything over 20 MPG?
And it adds best vehicle rates 142 MPGe.
What the!!??
What do you mean no build dates for March?
My blend date is today (3/9) and my truck went into production on March 3rd.
...according to the Ford tracker. Lol
You could just pour some Seafoam or other fuel treatment in your tank to prevent / remove water...
I've never found water in my fuel tank on my 2008 Mustang running pump gas with up to 10% ethanol.
Even the guys running E85 don't have fuel issues nor water in the tank...
Now if you let any...
