10k isn't a death sentence. It will almost certainly make it to the end of the warranty period before it fails. If you plan to keep your truck running for a long time, 5k. Trade it in every 3 years? 10k. Then there's that oil life indicator that at least partly accounts for driving conditions...
You trust what a car dealer says? I've got some property in Florida for you. Right on the water. Heck of a deal. Send me a pile of crypto and it's yours...
Rumor has it that the long interval is EPA driven. Somehow saving six quarts every 10,000 miles will make a difference. Sad that it's...
Manual says 10,000. Folks who have had their oil tested say 6,000-7,000. With that many miles I wouldn't go farther than 5,000. Maybe less. Depends on how long you plan to keep her.
Every little thing. I expect downloads and forscan changes to be stored in a log file. Dynamically - Where you go. When. How long you're there. How fast you drive. How quickly you accelerate. How hard you brake. How hard you corner. Whether you're weaving and when. All for sale to interested...
This. Anything computer controlled is going to glitch every now and then. I've had a couple instances where the transfer case wouldn't work properly and power cycling fixed it. Once it refused to exit 4L even though all the lights said 2H and the other time it entered 4L on it's own while...
Unless you know the previous owner and the history, this is good advice. Every problem truck gets traded in. Every one. The solid trucks? Lots do get traded, but I'm always hesitant to trade in a stellar vehicle for a brand-new crap shoot. And when do I decide to sell a good one, there's often...
Phone as a key? What about those of us who go to places without coverage? It better work with Bluetooth. And fück their app. I'm not paying ninety grand to be stalked, so it better work without FordAss. I hope the dealer add-on keypad is of decent quality. I suppose an option is to carry a pair...
I think it's because they want a plain backdrop for the decals. The $50 decals that cost $1000. That you can delete but have to pay for. At least they look stupid. I can only imagine how good they look after a few runs through the sagebrush. I figure when I upgrade that I'll be stuck with white...
Once I knew it was possible, it was pretty easy to do without the strap. Having a picture in my head of what the latch looks like and where the pin you need to raise is located helped a lot. Since the only reason I go back there is to vacuum, I didn't bother with the strap.
