Kirk just became a father for the first time this month. Probably should cut him some slack. Plus another company is building the product. As I understood it add is building the products. Being as diplomatic as possible I would guess production may be behind? That is just a guess.
Going to be a busy few days until we leave for this. Have the drill, grinder and a bunch of other stuff out attacking the truck again today. Truck goes to the fabricator tomorrow for rear gussets and mechanic Tuesday for some last minute maintenance. Somehow I have to find a way to get it in...
Cool so I have 6.5 days before I load the truck. Gotta wait till the last minute or it isn't fun. Sadly even though I have done prep work Wednesday night will most likely be a late night. Have to work Thursday then head part way down.
I agree it looks like top perch. While it looks good if you have a newer model year they don't respond well to top perch like the first couple years did. CV joints will break much quicker. Mid-perch is much safer as far as long-term drive train durability goes.
Nice looking truck and garage by...
Very clean and well executed build. Good job. The mileage is outstanding. The ecoboost loaners I have had never register more than 14 when I have gotten them an less when they go back. Thanks for sharing your build. No need to own a Raptor just to be part of this online community.
I have a stock suspension too. It's on Huck's truck until Saturday though.
RW what's up with no mid-perch yet is the mechanic not taking care of your truck?
Only way it has any effect on warranty is if the servicing dealer thinks the tune contributed to the problem they are fixing. My truck is tuned and has been for a long time. Dealer never says anything about it. They noticed just like they noticed the CAI, Nav-tv, suspension, lights etc. Never...
I am very interested. I need more clearance with new UCA from SVC. So, if that would be possible I would be more than happy to take off my current American Eagle wheels and put on some real bead locks.
Took it to the fabrication shop. Going to have some custom gussets welded on rear shock mounts and mounts welded on up front to hold the King reservoirs. Shouldn't have talked to them so much. Going back tomorrow to discuss more goodies. Note to self, never ask people who build race vehicles...
