Mid perch or no?

look at the base of the front shocks. if you see one ring then its on mid and if you see two rings then its on the top.

picture taken off google that is on mid

Just looked it had 2 rings so on top hope it drives well been driving good on roads haven't been off road yet though looks great and more lifted than the mid perch

well if you don't like it you can take it to the shop and tell them to re do it since they did it wrong

If it would damage the vehicle, then why would they put it on there? Just sayin!


This is quite an ignorant statement.

To the OP: I would strongly consider having the shop move it to mid perch like you originally requested. I foresee you having front suspension problems in the near future even if you keep that truck exclusively on-road. And by "problems" that includes very premature wear on your front suspension components. Just something to think about.

My son had his mid perch done on Tuesday at a local 4x4 shop along with alignment. He loves it! He likes how it rides and it does look good. Going to leave mine stock for now.

I agree it looks like top perch. While it looks good if you have a newer model year they don't respond well to top perch like the first couple years did. CV joints will break much quicker. Mid-perch is much safer as far as long-term drive train durability goes.

Nice looking truck and garage by the way.
