Lets plan the vacation again! Can't it be a meet for nice people with nice trucks? I think there is enough interest to have a Raptor 'meet' there. Sign me up.
So in theory, if you downloaded the files onto a thumb drive, then looked very carefully at the two files to figure out which 'flash files' are which and 'in theory' bring the Raptor splash back to the screen by removing and placing the correct flash file in its place, then put it in the...
I will take a look tomorrow to see if there are any trim levels that use the same color as our Raptors with no Tweeters. I would think like an STX/XTR (for the Canadian folks) or something might, but I cannot remember.
Probably not going to happen, but worth a shot. The usually cannot back configure it to a previous version. I am sure someone in the world has been able to hack the system to get whatever we want at startup, but then we would have to have it 'hacked' each time we got an upgrade...
Seems like...
There was a group of us that met in Wausau to start our route. Midwest-WI trip
It was a great time, but the included self tapping screws did not hold the Vortex flaps on good enough. Pass side made it to about 4pm Saturday (thats when we noticed the pass side was missing) and drivers side...
I must have had mine too low as they were lost in the woods in Northern WI during a Raptor run. I will hopefully be getting a new set of Vortex flaps for Christmas. I like the slotted/vented look that the Vortex flaps offer.
Here is what i was talking about. The little yellow clip that holds the lock rod can vibrate. I strategically placed (blue) electrical tape to silence any noises from the rod moving in the yellow clip.
Sorry about the black and grey wire confusion. I meant a black and grey connector in the door jamb.
To clarify the hole I drilled in the connector this image is with the passenger door opened fully looking into the door jamb crack from the outside. The left side of the image is the dirt on...
In addition, once the mirrors are wired up down to the BCM, you could affectively tie into circuit CLS25 (yellow with a purple tracer) to get the LED to flash with the turn signal. But if you wanted that, it would be smarter with less resistance to tie into the led turn signal already in the...
Unfortunately, it is not. I ran it through the door connector (black and grey plastic in the door jamb) to the Body Control Module (BCM) in the passenger side kick panel. Then located the circuit CBP30 (yellow with blue tracer) and tied my LED power into that.
I then used the ground wire that...
Drilled slight hole on the bottom of the connector on the door jamb for the wire to go through. According to the wiring diagram, there is no one circuit that can be tied into to that has both running and turn lights.
Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market look for any 09-14 F150 mirror and you can swap all the parts over from yours. I just had my mirrors apart (brought them inside and warmed with a hair dryer) and the mirror can be disassembled/swapped fairly easily.
I am in the middle of completing the forward facing running/turn signal light. The connector for the door harness is a MAJOR PITA! I am running the wires to the left front turn signal and right front turn signal respectively. I will post again tomorrow when i am hopefully done.
Yes, mine does a similar noise when pulling out of the garage when its humid. Mine seems louder though, but it could be because of the video. Wont happen the rest of the day either.
