Found this when cruising some CL in areas I’m headed to for work.
Could be a nice deal if you’re in NM, especially with the price of tires right now.

Your money obviously, but there are a few things I’d rather spend the $1000 on that those steps would cost.
On a functional note, before the mudflaps, I’d hear rocks and whatever else hitting the factory steps quite often from the front tires. Definitely seems like a solid piece for rock blocking.
Exactly why I haven’t even bothered with a test drive. Driving 46 miles every day I work would have me at the pump far too often. Lifetime mileage for the raptor as a daily driver is 17.21 which would be so hard to give up for a TRX which maybe would pull double digits for me.
Just attempted to install the comfort plus load set as I felt the back was pretty firm. Just to be clear, the process is:
Connect
Read all
Load new comfort plus file
Write all
Disconnect
Is this correct?
Cool truck but at least for me, that gas bill would cut me deep for how much I drive.
I’m sorry to hear that your raptor had so many issues with then powertrain. Luckily I’ve been issue-free as have many others here. Enjoy the TRX.
I just bought the DSC for my truck. Ultimately I went with them over E-clik as I did not feel I required the in-cab module and I like less clutter when possible inside. The cost savings between the two is nice and I do like the ability to change things myself with my laptop if required.
I'll...
It appears they do based on other users’ feedback in the last few pages of the DSC thread. They have not posted an update themselves saying they have downloads specifically for the 3.0 upgrades.
I am on the fence between the two as well. I’m viewing either as the best bang for the buck in terms of immediate return on the investment. I mean by this that a fog light kit has certain use cases where every day I drive my truck I’d be benefiting from the Eclik or the DSC controller.
So far...
Same feelings on the flares…. Could have been a very cool application for a factory extra wide fender.
Aside from that, I wonder if those seats are a hint at the black recaros for the raptor R?
The engine is being discontinued mainly for reasons of meeting emissions and mileage standards with the focus of Ram shifting to electronic technologies and hybrids.
Here is an article from car and driver about it:

Is gas mileage important to you? Which look do you like better? Which company do you feel will have better dealers for service with any issues you may have post-sale? Any quality that stands out for one versus another such as interior materials, layout, or options?
The gen 3 raptor appears to...
There are far better ways for less money to achieve your goals of better payload and stability. Plenty of folks here who overland and have beefed up their suspension with airbags or HD leaf springs to achieve those characteristics.
Moving to a 5 link would no doubt result in a better ride for...
What out of that is still code orange? I am guessing the obvious bits like under the hood and the engine bay, but what about the tailgate area, door sills, and rear wheel wells?
Based on what has been posted, the market is only saturated at those ADM's. The flow of customers with the willingness to pay for a truck with that sort of ADM has most likely slowed and / or dried up. There won't be a "saturation" until you see dealers selling raptors with significant discounts...
That will be personal preference. With a higher load rating on a tire almost always comes a stiffer side wall. This generally, but not always, changes the ride quality of the vehicle. The first layer of your suspension is the tire as it will deflect before the shock/spring even starts moving...
