Don’t want to start a raging debate, and I know there are higher end units out there, so I’ll make a case for a “low rent” unit since it’s so very budget friendly; I’ve been extremely satisfied with my Sun Joe SPX3000. It’s the best selling elec pressure washer out there by far and for good...
Gotta agree with you there. I think the red rings, red stepper emblem, and maybe brake calipers and tow hooks would look good on your truck but I think the red B pillars would definitely not, even if done perfectly. Just my opinion tho.
That 4 head multi-sprayer is all and good for some of the undercarriage but you need more than that for other hard to reach places (wheel wells in particular). Detailers trick- add one of these angled spray heads to end of your trigger/wand. Takes a lot of the pain/strain of getting in all the...
While the dirt roads aren’t the best for mileage, we just cruised around 45-ish most of the way. The wife doesn’t dig the run-n-gun way I drive when alone or with my fishing buddies so I just cruised and avoided the brake just to see what kinda mileage it would deliver. Still had to pass...
It’s hard to get that balance of having a big truck with a lot of power yet somehow getting it to feel “nimble”. I think Ford has pretty much nailed that feeling. I seriously doubt the TRX is going to pull that off. I see it being fast but heavy. Someone will have to post some driving...
Wife and I took a drive from our place on Ashley Lake to Spotted Bear River rd (NW Montana) for a little fly fishing. It’s 200ish miles round trip with over 100 miles on dirt roads going around Hungry Horse Reservoir. The wife likes a relaxed ride so.... Thought I’d find out what kinda “miles...
Griot’s towels are spendy, but they are the best. Bought 2 of the even larger edgeless towels they have after buying a couple $25 towels from another vendor and a couple $15 towels from a 3rd. Pretty much get what you pay for... good, better, best as you go up in price. Griot’s are the best...
You can spend a ton more but this works great. Really good reviews too:

And this puts out amazing foam or you can just use it as normal car wash:

Here’s a good review of...
Do it yourself and save some dough. I did the Avalon King product on the paint and the CQuartz deluxe on everything plastic. Turned out great and really was not hard to do. Might the pro-applied products last longer? Quite possibly, but this should last a few years and not hard to do again...
All I can do is commiserate instead of help. While kind of minor, it is one of my top pet peeves about the Raptor. I live in ice/snow conditions at least 5 months a year and having to switch it to weather/snow mode every single time I start it is just plain wrong. And when I’m towing... same...
I went the Juvenile route (Matte with matching claw marks). Wasn’t sure I’d like em, and admit, not for everyone; turns out I’m just a kid and really like em.
Is that your whole list of performance mods? High Flow Turbo Exhaust Adapter (AMS had better diameter than SPD) comes to mind. Cheap if you do it yourself.
Looking at 12k lumens for the rough country vs 19k+ for the BD’s...but then again, there’s quite a price disparity. However, I’d still be going with BD or Rigid. They simply make superior quality lights.
Not really any reason at all except the coolant container is kinda ugly. While I like the more finished look of it all, totally impractical and unlikely to EVER be that clean again. Only people that will be looking under there are me, and, I pray, very few mechanics. Thought some of the...
As above, check out the copious information available in the Lighting forum.
Lots of great vendor support. I like the Specialty Performance Products guys cuz not only do the have great support like a lot of vendors, and great products, they have some products unique to them and they have some...
After painting my Raptor emblem on my running boards, I had extra paint so decided to dress things up a bit in the engine bay. Pretty impractical where I live since keeping the engine clean isn’t particularly practical (I’m several miles out beyond pavement), but, why not....
So NOW that you actually own a Raptor, you are steering the conversation back on point.... That kinda contradicts about 5000 of your posts which did just the opposite before you got your beast. Oh how times have changed. haha
I really like my Bedrug XLT. Does everything I want. Good...
That just plain sucks. Kicking out the kind of dough we do for a performance vehicle, this should be a pretty fun and exciting experience. Something like this is just a kick in the nuts at a time you should be celebrating. Really sorry. We all feel your pain.
