This stuff is easy and works well. I did my '20 the day after I took delivery. I did about 10 minutes of sanding, pulled the labels off the axle, then sprayed it. It still looks great today. Looks like it's freshly done.

That looks good. I started seeing complaints about the red stripe when I bought my truck, so I've gotten myself in the habit of trying to keep my hands off the top when I'm just cruising. Hopefully that will help. I only have 17,000 miles on it so far.
I'm afraid it's already too late!! Seriously, I've seen a few guys post over the years with this complaint. Some seemed much more noticeable. I don't see it on my '20. I know a saw a few members blaming it on the fuel weight, but I don't know if that was actually the issue or not, I don't think...
It is caused by the fact that Raptor owners normally have the extra weight of their ginormous penises, which tends to make that lean semi-permanent, even after you exit the truck.
I bought mine at a year. It gradually gets more expensive as the truck gets older. I liked having it because it also includes a loaner if the dealer doesn't have any and it's stuck for warranty.
The finance ***** IS A LIAR! What I have, and many others in here have, are the FORD ESP plan that any Ford dealer sells. Flood IS a Ford dealer and sells the Ford ESP at a major discount. Ziegler is the other major player, ALSO a Ford dealer. For me Flood was a little cheaper. It's the exact...
I would cancel it and get the Ford factory extended warranty from Flood or Ziegler, whoever is cheaper. It's a Ford backed warranty. It should cost 1/2 or less (depending on what level you want) than what you have.
What a pain in the ass they caused you! I had a Volvo 2 years old with about 20,000 miles. While it was at the dealer for stereo warranty work they called me to suggest I flush the trans. When I asked why the trans would need ANYTHING with such low miles, I was told, "Because it has a turbo". I...
Thanks for that, but I'm missing the funnel shaped tube that mounts to the cable assembly that holds the spare tire up. The dealer ordered it for me yesterday. It's the piece that guides the rod the last foot or so to mate it to the bolt that lowers the wheel. I think it's called a guide tube.
Something I learned tonight was that if you never dropped your spare, don't wait until it's dark and raining to try to figure this one out. It was enough of a pain in my garage! I keep a silicone cover on my fob, works well except for being a bitch to get off and on. But what if you need to drop...
Thanks, I got it down. I ended up putting a bright headlamp on and with what you guys said and sighting from under the truck and dicking around with the handle at the same time I got the rod in. It's tough with no plastic guide tube! It will be much easier to take it back down when I get the...
I went to drop my spare for the first time and was planning on lubing the cable. I only thought about it because when I went to lower the spare on my beater '05 Silverado it was rusted like it had been sitting in the surf at the beach for years. That one I'm going to have to cut it loose and...
My Gen 2 has this auto camera craziness in it also. I keep getting text messages from whomever is watching me asking me what the hell is wrong with me. I just ignore it and live my life.
Weird how some dealers talk down the Recaro's. When I ordered mine, the dealer strongly recommended against the seats, especially since I was getting Race Red paint. Once it came in, all the dealer people were going on about how nice the seats were and what a nice order it was. Come to find out...
