I did my rear brakes (rotors & pads) at 160k, I just sprayed brake cleaner on the parking brake parts and called it good. Still working good at 180k including hill hold.
My thoughts on this subject, more capacity is helpful if you tow heavy or subject the truck to Baha conditions otherwise unnessary. In the hotter regions the F250 cooler helps keep the temps cooler longer. Modern fluids are engineered to reach optimum viscosity at around 185 degrees hense the...
Hey can you tell me your number? I think I pulled a nube and got burned.
Someone texted me and I have been talking to them and already paid. … like 4 others have hit me up too and I’m freaking out.
I received this PM so it looks like I missed the sale of my item. ******* I N G S C U M B A G S
Trip to San Antonio went well, Raptor performed well and drove like a dream. I put a lot of trust in the DTE and pulled into the gas station on fumes one mile from destination.
All set for the drive to San Antonio, tires rotated and pressures checked, oil and filter changed, topped off the fuel tank at costco then added two bottles of BG44K when I got home. Leave at first light in the morning, it's about an eight hour drive depending on stops.
The HF low profile 2 ton 23 3/4" lift (Pittsburg) jack is what I've used for the past 10+ years and 36 tire rotations on my RaptoR. No need for blocks of wood or extensions to lift the tires off the ground and use the HF 6 ton stands.
It's been raining all morning and finally cleared out so I started the tire rotation and wheel cleaning process. Oil and filter change #37 tomorrow as I will be driving to San Antonio on wednesday.
Now that you have shared more info on what is going on it sounds like the charcoal filters in the fuel purge system are contaminated from over filling the fuel tank. A new purge valve should not go bad immediately and the replacement throwing DTC codes indicates there is still a problem with the...
Step #1 check fluid level in transmission
Step #2 have the transmission serviced, either fluid and filter or flush
Personally I would take it to the local ford dealer and ask them to check the fluid level and schedule the transmission service then go from there.
If they don't have a handheld tuning device then they can buy one from the tuner they go with. If shelby and roush don't sell tunes so be it, get a tune from someone else that is willing to take their money. Having forced air is a liability, @MurderedOutSVT knows this first hand but it's fun.
Guys I think you are making this way more difficult than it needs to be. When the superchargers were put on your trucks they had stock tunes and then a modified tune was installed. So why can't a stock ford tune be put on the truck then send a copy of the revised tune to your tune company and...
I bought my replacement backup camera from ford a couple of weeks ago and it was easy to swap out as the 2014 has the redesigned ford emblem. It would turn on when in reverse but no zoom and the front camera would not enable. Yesterday I took my RaptoR in for the LF recall so I asked them to...
I installed a new backup camera a couple of weeks ago and it worked somewhat and the front camera would not enable. Today I was at the dealership getting the programing done for LF recall so I had them program the cameras and now the front camera works also.
The recall letter states that if you paid out of pocket for a molded leadframe and the DTC codes are in the PCM it is possible to be reimbersed. My RaptoR is at the local ford dealership having the recall performed as I type this.
