With the huge gap ( basically a year) in production Of the GEN 2 to G3 and spotty production of just about everything these days I doubt prices will come down next year. As the GEN 3s come in, trickle in, they will be scooped up very fast, interest rates will still be low for another year at...
Your right- No way they gonna let people order it like an 800a and check the 700 hp v8 box. They will force 802a and it’s will all come “ standard “ on the R. At least let us pick no glass roof at least ford. Going crazy here maybe- graphic delete please. Maybe a different hood and a nice R...
I Was getting an oil change last week and offered my dealers GM 5k ADM for the first R he gets next year, I have bought three raptors from him. He laughed.
Here in TN it has been a fairly good buyers market until end of summer when all when interest rates dropped and all the sudden there were no raptors being produced I believe in several months. Now lightly used is selling for MSRP.
I bought a 2020 a year ago for invoice. I really really...
where it’s says upload file bottom middle next to post reply. i have ran several E Rated tires now and the trucks really don’t need the weight rating I carry about 800/1000 pounds off road including my fat butt and the MTRs have been great used them in New Mexico and Wyoming Hunting for about a...
I am running 35 inch Goodyear MTRs on the factory beadlocks. Very happy with them. They are only 6 ply - C Rated. Lightweight like 64 pounds or something and have been very tough off road.
Not wanting to start anything but -Don’t listen to anyone on here? This is the first place I came even before i owned a raptor in 2016 when i ordered my first Gen2. Thats a broad blanket statement, there is a lot of experience on here. I am on my 3rd Gen 2 now. Combined they have over 130k miles...
Couple people asked. The +4 Deavers are the HD ones. You can’t go wrong with them, if you think they are to high you can add a shackle later as others mentioned.
Here is another shot of it loaded down on a hunting trip this fall. About 800 pounds of coolers and gear total Including the rack...
+4 and eibachs is what I did. Very happy with it up to 400 or so pounds In the bed. I had +3 on my 2018 and wanted a little more In rear the truck would still drag it ass when loaded down on two tracks crossing washes.
I am not dumping my 2020 Gen 2 anytime soon.... hate to start over with mods so soon but I am hoping for a bump to 500 hp to move those 37s as well as the 35s with 450hp Hopefully they will clear enough room for “real” 37s and not barely squeak the BFG AT 37s in there. And like others have said...
You need to add bullets, powder and primers to the above list. J/K
No really nothing wrong with supply and demand on luxury items, that’s how it is supposed to work. Hopefully each dealership gets at least a couple. I can only imagine what ADM my dealership will charge if they only get one...
Strong solid maybe. Iam on my 3rd Gen 2, first one got crushed by a tree a week after it rolled off the lot. I have loved the trucks but no one has really talked much about the possibility of a version of the 7.3. Maybe short stroke it to 6.8, aluminum block, high ish compression and decent rev...
It’s a combo of a Leitner designs ACS rack and a Rhino Rack platform ( I think 74/76 inch or something ) bolted to the crossbars. Have had it on two raptors now about 80k miles very solid combo. Rhino Rack is attached the four bolts and comes off easy for putting a dirt etc in back. The...
I did the M44 plus 4 hd Deavers and the Eibachs. Very happy with the combo I had the plus 3 HD on my 2018 and wanted a bit more in the ass when loaded with 500/600 pounds on hunting trips. Daily driving the biggest improvement is high speed freeway expansion joints on corners, ass stays planted now.
Three things -make sure the two bolts that hold the spring pack together are tight. Re torque the u bolts and get a can of Amsoil MPHD metal protectant and soak them in between the springs. Get the spring to move some/ articulate and it will soak in good. Three sets of Deavers now and well over...
Save your $ for a bit and get the Deaver M44 HD which are +4 or 2 inches over stock I just did that and eibachs, I have some weight on back and the RPG frame brace which adds some weight also, however but only like 300 pounds total unless it’s a trip. Way better than stock ride, firmer yes but...
I just got my truck finally done and had the dealership do the Eibachs just because of whatever had to be re set. Cost $450 so not cheap but got a alignment and first oil change done all at same time while it was there. I put the Deaver M44s on the rear myself a few days ago, these are the HD...
Watch the the tongue weight but those deaver HDs will help a lot. No way would I tow that with stock springs. Short trips you will ( should) be just fine.
Just traded my 2018 in on a new 20. No failure - 74k miles. It was starting to make a little noise on cold starts however. Had 27k on my 2017 when a tree fell on it no issues with that one either. Hopefully my 20 is trouble free. Want to tune this one.....
Seriously consider getting the +3 HDs well worth the $1400. Easy to swap out about the same unloaded ride more “ solid “ but not harsh at all. Gives you a comfortable 1500 lb ish load rating. 60k on my 2018 I love them.
A couple others have said it but Deaver springs were night and day for my truck. I did the +3 HD On my truck as I have a leitner designs rack and some crap always in the bed. No more hop on expansion joints and recovery is much quicker when the rear does side step- on purpose or not.
I really like my Leitner Deisigns rack with a 75 inch long rhino rack cargo tray on top. Very versatile. Four bolts and the top tray comes off and the cross bars slide forward to allow full use of the bed. I put the +3 HD Deavers on and supports 500/600 plus pounds of crap for hunting trips...
