    Radium dual catch can?

I have a dual set up that is not of use to me anymore if anyone is interested:

GEN 2 Long term FMIC owners?

Believe it or not, this is not a real problem ( stacking coolers in away that have them in the same air path through the grille). As crazy as it sounds, 140f air can and will cool the 210F radiator behind it. Remember, “optimal” temp for oil and water is the key, not cold. Better intercooler...

    Catch-can bone dry.

The type of oil can also have an effect on how much vapor is created (that turns back to liquid in the can).

Knock in DI motors (LSPI) drove the reformulation to SN+. The detergent balance of calcium is different.

    Gen 3 Windshield Replacement

Carlite is a Ford Company, no?

    Gen 3 Windshield Replacement

Yes, It is a more expensive option that you can request of your carrier. I have used this option for the past 20 years.

    Gen 3 Windshield Replacement

You have to specify OEM replacement as part of your policy. It is negligibly more expensive but I want to make sure I get OEM glass on my cars.

    Skid Plate Clip

Shane, Those are available from Ford. I would buy a couple for spares as they do wear out. The Ford dealer will be able to get the part number. Once you have that, you can ship replacements on line.

    Battery Tender

Great share! This is a so the BMS will adjust as it charges. It does not mean the battery is not charging. He states this in the video. It will not effect how the charger monitors the battery and maintains/charges it. The BMS will re adjust after a few hours of not driving (usually over night...

    2023 Torsen?

Do owners realize a Torsen is not a locker? It's seems like the disappointment is based on this assumption. By the way, even with a Torsen Traction Control comes into play (i.e. uses brakes). To make maters more confusing is that if you put a vehicle that has a Torsen on a jack with the wheels...

    2023 Torsen?

Team, Torsen diffs do not “lock”. They act like an open diff when completely off the ground. I understand being disappointed about not having one, but they have never been a locker. The whole point of a Torsen is to be able to split torque between two wheels at different speeds and kind of...

GEN 2 is it possible to buy the Ford Performance Touring midpipes only?

Why not get the whole system? You have the FP tail pipes already or want to keep them stock?

Gen 3 is an electrical nightmare. Drive mode, exhaust mode, onboard power

I would also hook the battery up to a tender/charger for good measure. Man, sorry your dealing with this.

Has anyone tried any oil additives in the 3.5 l EcoBoost and heard or made any actual difference in the performance and longevity of the engine

You nailed it. These one armed bandit demos a grift. Head and Shoulders Shampoo will out perform any engine oil in these “tests”. You shouldn’t use it in your engine though.

Has anyone tried any oil additives in the 3.5 l EcoBoost and heard or made any actual difference in the performance and longevity of the engine

Great point! Keep in mind though that the port/direct injection motors still accumulate more of the soot deposits (compared to a port only motor). The calcium (detergent) balance in a DI oil help tremendously. The same things that control soot in a DI motor also help with Low Speed preignition...

Has anyone tried any oil additives in the 3.5 l EcoBoost and heard or made any actual difference in the performance and longevity of the engine

Also, For additives to be truly effective, they need to be of good quality ( there are 40 different types of ZDDP for example) and blended with the base oil at specific temperatures. Also, look for a high VI (Viscosity Index) and try and determine/find out if the base oil is of the highest...

Has anyone tried any oil additives in the 3.5 l EcoBoost and heard or made any actual difference in the performance and longevity of the engine

Driven Racing Oil DI30. Only oil blended that starts with a mPAO base that I am aware of. This oil was designed for Ecoboost Ford engines from the start. All others on here were blended with a broad market of applications.

    Catch can?

mPAO oils are really good. Look into PAO vs.mPAO. I’m wondering if the oil separator the Ford Performance current GT500 would work on the Raptor R?

    Billet rear links

Lighter links would make the truck handle better. The Uniball pivots are stronger but will wear faster than stock. I would make sure to lube the Uniball pivots with Tri-Flow or Driven Racing oil Speedlube. Need to inspect and clean on the regular as well.

Gen 3 Raptor 37 Geiser Rear coils install + pics

Check to see if there is a difference between the distance of the wheel poke between the left and right rear tires. That’s the simplest way I can think of how to explain it. I would expect the passenger side to be poked out to the left just a tad bit (3/4” inch or so. The opposite would be true...
