Yea i understand. Mines garaged here in MI as well. I wont buy any car anymore unless it will stay in the garage. The shelby and the Raptor fit.
Now I'm crazy about the underbody as well, but living in MI its less about it being "clean" and more about spraying anti corrosives and the such...
E rated and complaint are mutually exclusive in my experience especially compared to a C rated tire. That being said, many of the trucks we run out west are on E rated tires and when aired down they are not bad, but not what a C rated is.
I bet if you douce that whole harness is some corrosionX or other dielectric grease it will keep the water out of the harness too, i believe this is why I have no had an issue
Im wondering how the transfer back would work. Here In MI, if this happened Id have to pay sales tax again on the truck I just sold a week earlier. So it would be an extra few k unless the tittle wasnt signed off on yet.
WHats interesting is a prior version of the TSB from 2020 vs 2021 that I found mentioned doing update to software to most current version prior to 21B1. . Seems inconsistent at best...
The challenge I've seen here is the TSB that some dealers reference (if done under powertrain warranty) vs the cust sat campaign (i can dig up the TSB number if needed), didn't mention doing a new cal.

I've been going back and reading these old threads for personal knowledge. None of this is surprising to me based on what I have learned from my truck and friends trucks. I believe the new cal was just to try to mask how noticeable the issue is, not to really affect logevity of the hardware...
