I too am a believer. The price Flood offers is great and easy to work with. If you buy one early and then need to change it they can change it while you are still under factory warranty for the difference in price. You are subject to a 75 dollar change fee and any price increases, but...
So you can order a spare plug (based on the numbers the thief could find on the unit) or figure out the pin combination with a multimeter. Seems easy to break to me if they flatbed it away. I think I'd just go with the stickers :)
Thanks for that write up. I had theroized that when mine would start to make noise I had been in a lot of deep snow off roading. I figured its probably pretty easy to move those IWE hoses around. I did reseat them (albeit half assed in a parking lot in like 10 degrees), but I was wondering if...
I just drop my radio across my right leg. My exernal faceplate fits snug right into the void beside the drivers right leg. No need to mount anything. Radio in the back under the rear seat in that compartment and power from the powersupply also under the rear seats.
Suspension squeaking can be your rear leafs, power wash them real good, that usually remedies mine and spray them with some type of lubricant like a AMSOIL HDMP or Corrosion X. Start with the power wash though. Clean up between the leafs and the pads where they touch real well.
This is good info, that is good to have documented. It took me a year to figure out that fordpass issue! Also downside is if you have to cancel the old one they only prorate you but you pay the full amount for the new plan so its not the most cost efficient. Modifying it at the original...
I'd be interested to see what you come up with. They replaced both the solenoid and the hub actuator each time. They said in the diagnostics the hub actuator didnt make spec vacuum even with the new solenoid. Part of me wants to believe there is a simpler fix and they just missed it and threw...
I agree with you on the way the system works, but how is it producing the issue, the dealer fixing with new IWE, problem goes away, then another year later or so after being in deep snow wheeling it hard, it coming back a workmanship issue? The thing thats interesting to me is its on slowing...
As FordTechOne mentioned, also here is another thread on exact topic.... https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/front-clunk-noise-found.95102/
I have not had the bolts back out on mine but I had a sway bar link that would make noise but only on bumps....
I've had this twice on my 2018 , both in cold weather, intermittent as you describe above and coming to a stop. Both times on the drivers side. Both times the dealer replaced my IWE and the sound went away. Why just the drivers side each time? Good question, I sure would like to know. I'm...
I feel for ya man. Good choice. This is why i refuse to buy anything like this truck unless its new or a private party sales hopefully 1 owner or where I knew the exact history.
Glad i bought 6 takeoffs right after I got my truck in 18. 100 a piece, made the decorations until I needed them! Sold 2 fronts at a profit and had a spare set to swap on then rebuild the others....
I had a 12 SuperDuty and the motors failed on mine about 80k and no folding option. On my 18 Raptor I fold my mirror in and out each time in and out of the garage and every time I park, so they get a lot of use.
Not sure how the auto feature works but, if you are one to lock / unlock a lot it...
